I love Borth, pre lockdown, I visited/stayed once a year and I fell in love with it. It does make me sad that I won't be visiting in the near future since I moved to Edinburgh from the Black Country last summer. although we have some nice Borth-esque villages, it just isn't Borth! Great video, you've gained a subscribe from me!
Yes Borth is lovely and very underrated which I think is part of its appeal. Thank you for taking the time to comment and subscribing very much appreciated 👍
This video took me back to 1998/and other times with me kids , nice to see how borth is 24 years on its practicaliy not changed I want a bag of fish n chips now lol cheers mate great video best wishes Shrewsbury 👍
I think that’s one of the great things about Borth it’s seems cut off from the modern world it’s sorta like in its own dimension 🤣and doesn’t seem to change. The fish and chips are pretty good at the moment from the Acorn and the Surrey 👌
Fascinating walk and history. Do you know how Aberystwyth evolved? Surprised I can still spell that town perfectly all these years after graduating, what a beautiful coastline. I'm considering visiting more towns on it.
Worked at the YHA for 3 months going back a good 12yrs or so now. Shame I never stayed longer as seemed quite a kooky place. And to this day that pub with the beer garden on the beach is the only place I've seen dolphins off the coast and that's despite living another coastal town for the subsequent 10yrs.
Borth is my happy place,we stay in the caravan park by the nisa shop and its a gift store.great chip shops too. 16:23 that used to be an arcade/gift shops in the late 80s early 90s. Such a shame that most of the stores and arcades are no longer there. But ill still go every year with the mrs and sometimes with the whole family.great times. I love Aberystwyth too.
Love borth booked by accident fell in love with the place went for 3yrs running stopped when covid hit but going back in 2 weeks glad it's not changed too much that was a worry.
