    Excellent review, one of the best I've seen for this bike. After owning many bikes over the years, I think this one will tick all the boxes for me, a good touring bike with the bags and also fast and agile. Perfect!

    I have bought this bike and must say it's more like a cross between a sports bike and a naked bike due to the body style and the upright riding position. It's a smooth ride all the way excellent suspension.

      @@theseeker4313 ok here ya go...... 2017 ninja 1000. Ecu flashed by twowheeldynoworks . the ninja 1000 is top speed limted to the top speed of the z1000 which is 152mph with the flash i got it to 171mph speedo or 169mph gps. The bike also has low rpm power restrictions to meet euro4 emissions. And the bike runs lean and hot. The ecu flash gets rid of all restrictions and remaps the fueling, throttle plates and turns the fan on 10° lower which keeps my bike cool in the Florida heat and it gets rid of the snatchy throttle. You should check out the website for a better description. But the flash is amazing. He really opened up my bike. I can keep up with all my friends R1's gsx1000r and all the other super bikes on the a
      Straight till my top speed. I also jave a full Akra system and K n N filter and i run amsoil. Its well worth the investment and if you ever mod your bike you can send tge ecu back to 2wheeldyno for a free reflash to match your mods u just pay 4 shipping. Its usually a 5day turn around from when u send your ecu out to its ib yoyr mailbox. Hope this info helps u.

    336 watts charging, per my research. Not a lot of electric available for adding heated clothing, grips, or extra forward lights. Otherwise, as strong as the engine is, Kawasaki could have easily made it much more bonkers....similar to a 1290 Super Duke GT.

      @shahid28285 6 років тому

      But lacks the 2 extra cylinders which this one has , smoothness and reliability of Japanese brand, than just bull shit reliability of British brand

    • @shahid28285
      @shahid28285 6 років тому

      I totally agree about my knowledge, as I left getting informed about British brands, the day I found they are unreliable be it in any hands (I mean manufacturing here). I owned an RE and it was evident.
      And trust me it did not end here, I have driven the Aston Martin and even Lamborghini Gallardo of Italy and found the issues in hand. So just alerting you.

    • @shahid28285
      @shahid28285 6 років тому

      At the end of the day reliability matters not electronic aids. You don't see even a single tiger in desert rallies or any other ones be it Dakar. Because they are not built to win but engineered to break. It applies to all British brands be it cars/bikes.
      A jaguar depreciates everyday more than you lose weight by dieting. So I am very well aware of Gold and polished Brass :)

    • @kingfisher111
      @kingfisher111 6 років тому

      @@shahid28285 1. Tigers aren't built for Dakars. They are much heavy. They're built for long distance journeys and weekend adventure getaways.
      2. Don't compare Triumph with RE (RE is indian Btw ever since 2nd World War). I've been using Tiger since last 1 year without even a single glitch here in delhi, India where the weather is absolute madness. Ive ridden it for more than 15000kms in all sorts of weather, be it rain, heat, cold, even Ice. Zero problems except for the tyre wear.
      3. Sports cars and Luxery cars are just a showoff item for the rich. That's it. And that's why they depriciate. That's an obvious point but why comparing an adventure bike with them?
      3. Superbikes in India have a much better resale than cars, more or less a brand like Triumph, which have various models for almost all the categories.

    • @shahid28285
      @shahid28285 6 років тому

      @@kingfisher111 I compared super cars just to give the idea of the British build quality (Aston Martin)
      2nd As you rightfully said It's not built for Dakar, yes which defeats the purpose of cross country then. Africa twin or KTM Adventure they sell or in case Yamaha Tenere is built the same way as Tiger, but they are the preferred choice to last the brutal weather and tarmac.
      I compared RE & Jaguar because that was a British brand once and just to justify my claim.
      I am happy if your bike has held up so far. But 15K kms is very less to prove the durability of such bikes.
      Ofcourse, I even agree on the depreciation front, but Even Aston is priced higher than the initial buying price, just as accounting it into exotics.
      But that doesn't change the fact on reliability :)
      Given a chance I would still prefer to go with Versys or even Suzuki V-Storm or even BMW G310 GE, rather than a British brand anytime.
      By saying this, I don't doubt that tiger is incapable, but I still can't digest the fact on reliability front.
      A smoothness of inline 4 can't be matched with 3/2/1 anytime
      Happy riding
