Is My Harley Davidson Street Bob Ready For Road Trips?

After taking a 500+ round trip road trip it's time to look over all the mods that have been made on my 2022 Harley Davidson Street Bob 114 to see if in this configuration is worthy of long distance travel. We go over all mods and how they performed and what I would change before the next road trip.

The Street Bob can defo do long distance touring once set up with the right parts. I did order the FXLRST Saddlebags in May which also do fit on the Street Bob. You will just need a rear lights replacement kit. They were supposed to arrive in July but I'm still waiting. If they don't arrive I will probably go with the LeatherPros.

Hope you get them soon. Something similar to those would be the Tommy & Sons hard bags. A little smaller than the FXLRST bags but look sick

Any reason in particular that you went with the leatherpro minis over the larger v3/v3 retro?

I liked the size and shape of these. Plus you can interchange them with the larger ones if you wanted to for longer trips.

Hey WR2, you should review the Saddlemen Step Up Tour seat and back rest next and compare to your Le Pera seat on the Road King.....Inquiring minds want to know.... Might be the one that looks good and has the functionality for long distance. Just sayin....
