Heya ram. I appreciate the effort you put into having a rather solid objective review of l'elegant. I have bought from Claude himself and might i say i got my best customer experience from a brand and in terms of price efficiency, the amount of freebies kinda does lower the price per ml that you actually get, from a free sample set of vials. But still it will be a high price point of entry. L'elegant for me might be the 5th of my top mdci frags. Palatin and invasion can share 1st and 2nd depending on the day, garamante 3rd, barbier de tangier 4th.

I want to give this brand a try…someday, probably, maybe….their bust bottles look awesome!!
I love the bottles too... the bottle with the bust is just bad ass 🗿
I love Chypre Palitan and also invasion barbare.
I think invasion is clean in someways but it is very dirty in my opinion and that's what makes it so amazing.
And chypre palitan is right next to diaghelev for my favourite chypres absolutely amazing. Love the vids as always.
I am a huge Chypre Lover... I agree with you & I will review Chypre Palatin soon 😍
@@RamseytheRam you gotta it’s just taking my life over right now it’s all I can think about same with diaghelev but I gotta start saving for that guy. It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever smelt and nothing has come close. It’s one of those fragrances where you roll your eyes back and laugh at how something can be created like that.

Invasion Barbare is more elegant for my taste than L' Elegant.
Chypre Palatin is glorious !!!
You can imagine me in Palais Garnier, in Paris, wearing Chypre Palatin during Bizet's Carmen ( with Elina Garanca as a main role).
Thank you for the review and for a good advice, since I don't own a bottle of L' Elegant.

Hi Ramsey - have you tried Cuir Garamante from this house? If yes, please share your thoughts. Also please recommend some rose leather fragrances that you consider worth looking into.

As far as Cuir Garamante I have never smelled it, but I do have Ambre Topeke sample floating around somewhere & I want to review chypre palatin & invasion Barbare one day too... so more MDCI reviews to come 💪🐏
I like your comparison with an audience. I typically pick people. This fragrance just “doesn’t have much to tell”. Boring or uninspired is too interpretable. From what you told us, it is just a little bit more than an elevator pitch, but no conversation after 30 mins 😉
That is exactly it! That's just my humble opinion 💪🐏
I got quite a few samples and minis from the line when bought invasion barbare, i haven't spent a great deal of time with all of them but i kimd of feel like niche perfume may have left the brand behind 🐏🦆

Sorry I don't understand what you mean? Are you asking where you can buy raw materials from? If so I am sorry I don't know as I have never purchased materials myself... any raw materials you see me show were gifted to me by folks like Russian Adam
@@RamseytheRam yes raw materials like sandal wood notes for instance or bergamot notes separately like the ones you show sometimes on your videos. Abdsalam attar had some but they are out of stock unfortunately

Cheers Rams I only have chrypre Palatine, a wonderful and arguably the best from the house, and of course Invasion Barbar is always on my mind lol 😂. I don’t really have anything else that I would fancy off the top of my head, err not this one for sure however it’s probably very pleasant and good to go for a work scent , cheers buddy have a great day mate ✌️🙏👍
