So, is "lipid nanoparticle" term comprises also liposome? Are lipid nanoparticles and solid lipid nanoparticles the same? I am confused about the term lipid nanoparticle.
Lipid nanoparticles are different than liposomes. Recently we started studying LNPs, and have shown the endocytosed RNA from Lipid nanoparticles undergoes endosomal escape and is packaged into vesicles, and thus secreted via extracellular vesicles. Several similarities between endocytosis of lipid nanoparticles, and secretion of their mRNA into extracellular vesicles. The title of this video is "Lipid nanoparticles", but there was no actual time spent explaning what Lipid nanoparticles is, just like 10 seconds. ???
