The Sleep Pod by company Hug Sleep is, to put it simply, an adult swaddle. It’s a soft, lightweight wearable blanket. It’s shaped almost like a sack that you climb into and pull over your body to relax or sleep in a cocoon-like state. The product’s intention is to make it feel like you’re receiving a gentle hug - ultimately reducing anxiety and helping you drift to sleep. It gained popularity after appearing on the hit show Shark Tank in 2020 and receiving a deal with one of the sharks.

It was an expensive piece of polyester. I bought this for my autistic grandson with ADHD for Christmas. I kept urging him to try it more than once, but he wouldn't. Said it was weird and too hard to get into. The company wants you to try it for 10 days. Every few days I brought up his trying it but he was not interested. Then it was too late and the company will not make an exception to their short return/exchange policy. The really weird thing is they said their exchange policy doesn't include a higher price product, which they could charge more for. I have never heard of a company that didn't want to make a few extra bucks. I wanted to exchange for the wrap, which anyone could use like a blanket, but they were not interested. My opinion is don't waste your money.
