      They are more universally known as The Shadow People (hence the story of the King as a Stag and shadow figures playing with him and the others) are made of Smokeless Fire (cosmic strings with monopole magnets), this firey nature makes them more passionate, for better or worse.
      And yes, they are all individuals and their actions are mostly representative only of themselves or the orders given...and they, like deities in record, don't like refusals, especially when its better to accept magickal friends and gifts. :P

      Yes definitely, you are correct. "Hame" is Scots for "home" so it just means the home of the Elves, ie Fairyland. These court cases weren't during the Dark Ages, but in fact during the Renaissance period, and the notorious Isabel Gowdie case was well into the 17th century, when people such as Isaac Newton were getting very scientific, so it's ironic that such absurd and childish tales weren't't seen for the nonsense they so obviously are to us. I find it baffling that people would condemn themselves by making such false confessions, unless they were coerced into doing so, or else were hallucinating under the influence of magic mushrooms or something.

    From what I heard/read is that the fairy queen fell in love with a mortal and he was caught cheating so he killed him out of rage, and since immortals are never supposed to commit such a sin, she killed herself out of guilt by singing her soul into a tree, creating the Tree of Life

    Fairies and mythical creatures are in the middle of good and evil like us humans

    • @inconspicuous-new--account
      @inconspicuous-new--account Рік тому

      It is usually quite rare to find a human with such precise balance. Humanity is in the middle of good and evil, but behaviour and consequences swing to extremes, when societies become obsessed with self indulgence. In an ascetic society it is fair to say that humanity swings toward good. In a self indulgent society, where people simply do not bother to train self control, and consider self-serving profit-making to be virtuous, the sociological impact is a swing toward evil. Fairies are always innocent though. They just don't appear so innocent to evil people. Think of what happens in that Indiana Jones movie, where the nazis open up the lost ark of the covenant. Those were known to be angels. Lovely friendly nice angels. So consider that in the case of pagan faeries, evil people will probably find them to be even more capricious. It's a good idea to get to know faeries really slowly. It will still be hard to get to know them really well.

    There is an old tradition of the Middridge Fairies who were said to live on a hill on the outskirts of the village. It was said that a lad named Willie once taunted the fairies who became angy and chased him all the way home to his house at Middridge Grange. The fairy Oberon threw his iron spear at the lad but he just got indoors in time and the spear stuck in the oak door. In the 1970s it was still possible to see the door with the split said to result from the spear thrust.

    The only thing I know about fairies and Little People is the massive amount of Quartz rocks that have every size from different size Giants hand prints all the way down to Little People and I guess what would be called fairies. There hand span is less than one inch size. They were all using the hand me downs from the beings that are larger than them. Example. I have a rock that one giant wore down then a smaller giant took it and wore his grooves into it. Then a human put his hand groove into it. Then a little dwarf size person wore his hand groove into it. They were taking each other's power.looks like their body energy and these Quartz rocks in the left hand caused an effect. Some of the rocks looks to be burned at the tips. Piezoelectricity I'm guessing. A being that size should get a spark. lol. I have rocks that have the finger grooves of many sized beings. As well as other artifacts that prove my claims. As well as a Egyptian style Totem with Ureas found next to these artifacts. There was a large group of dwarfs and Giants that lived in the same camp.This is half a mile from tobacco fields. They lived in this very spot for what looks like a very very long time. If your really looking for the truth. Well I have physical evidence.that show a group of different size beings lived together in the past.

    The fae folk have never had anything to do with the Christian devil. This just sounds like stories that wrongly accused witches dreamed up, based in existing tales and legends and given an evil spin befitting the Christian times, in an effort to divert full blame for their assumed crimes from themselves, which never mattered in the end because they ended up executed anyway. Witch trials were very much a "damned if you do, damned if you don't affair; a zero-sum game for those unlucky accused. If they didn't confess, the torture continued until they did confess, after which they were executed. The "trials" were a joke. But to get back on topic, in all of the old legends of faeries and elves and the like, they are neutral beings that are connected to the spirit of the Earth, neither benevolent nor malevolent. Mischievous, perhaps, but not necessarily insidious.
    As for joining her court? Assuming she was real, hell yes. She sounds far too interesting to say no to.

      The Devil himself doesn't really have anything to do with the Christian Devil either, apart from being him anyway. Christians make The Devil seem like a terrible monster, when actually, The Devil is merely the angel tasked with reforming egregious sinners. The Devil need only be feared if you are an egregious unrepentant sinner. It's hard to say why so many popes and bishops might think The Devil is bad news. I wouldn't know where to begin, with trying to guess. The Faery Queene is not such a sinner, so she would naturally get on very well with The Devil. Those who have faith in God, know that everything that happens is all part of God's plan, so even if it does get rough, they should know that it's going somewhere, for a good reason.

      Hello friend, I just wanted to bow to a fellow musashi fan. I still favor the "oar"... long, wooden and one strike to the temple. I have a home made 6'4", with iron bandings to get the maximum amount of weight/counter weight and a slight thinning through the 5' length between them to gain a little bit of "flex" in the musashi temple strike. I am afraid that it's too effective and therefore, can not be used for it's intent. But m.m. was a genius to use this approach to counter a longer katana and the hubris that swung it.

    Dude these really shouldn't count as legends. They're lies people crafted while being tortured in a desperate hope they might be saved or at least earn a clean death. They use repeated themes and characters because the victims and torturers alike knew of them from previous witch trials. Portraying them as mythology is borderline disrespectful to the innocent people who spun the lies while having their fingernails ripped out. If it is a story it isn't about fairies but rather the danger of unilateral belief systems and state/church sponsored violence.

    I would never think of the Queen of Elphame as evil. Its all Xtian propaganda. In Reidsville North Carolina a young girl claims to have run into the Queen several years back while lost in the forest. She asked her to stay with her because the girl's mother was abusive, but the little girl told her that her grandma would worry if she didn't return. So the Queen kissed her on the forehead and showed her the way back home through the forest. Sounds pretty benign to me. As a side note....many UFO sights are reported from that area of NC also. If she even asks me to stay.....I'd accept the invitation given the evils of human kind are getting pretty unbearable. I'll take my chances with the Sidhe.

      No, it isn't. Elphame is a Scots word for Elf-home.
      Scots, or Scots-English, is a Germanic language and so will of course sound similar to other Germanic languages.
      Elphame means "Fairy Land" in Scots, and had zero to do with Norse mythology other than both cultures using Germanic words to describe their respective otherworlds.

    Fairys were a way of explaining things they didn't understand like religion. Like autistic kids who got left in the woods to die etc...
    The last person to use fairy abduction to get off if murder was amazingly in 1895 in Ireland Bridget Cleary.... Her husband beat and burnt her to death but was cleared because he genuinely thought she'd been abducted by fairies and the thing he was living with was a fairy put in his wife's place. At least that's the excuse he used and they bought because he'd slept outside a known fairy Fort for 2 days so obviously must be true...

    • @itarry4
      @itarry4 Рік тому

      @@inconspicuous-new--account it doesn't need to be untrue it just is. Historical testimony doesn't equal truth nor fact. It equals how the person saw the event, what they thought happened, not what actually happened. We're talking about a video I watched 3 years ago now so can't give specifics etc but... Much of it will be based on factual events that when witnessed weren't understood so were explained through using the occult, fairies, etc. Also my comment was asking why they'd ask for a video of Hawkwood who has no occult anything attached with his name.

    • @inconspicuous-new--account

      @@itarry4 Well, if that is the way you are looking at it, then the stories of John Hawkwood are similarly untrue. Also, in the sense that they are cut off from view by an interposing barrier, they are also occult, because they are veiled in the past, and are not anything that anyone alive has any experience of. In contrast, as people alive today have experience of the Faery Queene, She is substantially less untrue than tales of John Hawkwood. I'm just laying down basic facts, logically here, because you don't seem to be thinking about them particularly clearly.

      Titania was Shakespeare's name for her in Midsummer Night's Dream. Faery royalty is not exclusive to a single individual. They all wish to consider themselves to be Queen or King. It's a bit like how the aim of some religions is to achieve god consciousness. There is only one God, but many people can experience being god. Similar deal with faeries. Just different words, and a more determined guide.
