- This stud of a freshman quarterback GAVE it to Bama and i’m still not sure if it really happened or not. Lawrence was named the game's most outstanding offensive player after completing 20 of 32 passing for 347 yards with three touchdowns and zero turnovers. He added 27 rushing yards and was never sacked.

Lawrence does a lot of the right things. Stepping up in the pocket, seems to make the right reads. Ability to extend the play with his athleticism, has the body to absorb hits. Got better with his pre-snap reads in his Sophomore and Junior year. He's gonna be fun to watch in Jacksonville.
And the #1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft is Trevor Lawrence.

Do you see how open Clemson receivers were? Don’t expect that next year. Saban went for great recruiters and not great defensive coaches. This year they will actually get coaching.
They could've dropped another 10 or 14 points. The gameplan was working that well. They took a 10 minute drive and chewed the rest of the clock to give the starters a curtain call, but never really took another shot at the end zone. Absolutely insane.

Ross was incredible in this game and has some very pro-worthy skills.
Lawrence made some great throws, but also was remarkably wild at times, and was surprisingly frustrated early in the game. He throws off his back foot too much, and he'll probably have to work on that if he is going to be successful at the next level. Of course, he's only a freshman, so plenty of time, assuming he doesn't rush to the pro's.
Orion's Ghost agreed on the back foot comment. and super agree that Ross is very talented. Lawrence has all the time to work on his weakness’. i could see him and Tua battling for the championship again next season

@@Snareguydave It is great to be able to get the ball away quickly, but at the pro level throwing it in that manner will lead to pick sixes. Dumping the ball off or throwing it at your running backs feet, stepping up and taking a 'short sack', or scrambling if possible are options he'll have to embrace more when the pressure comes very quickly.

He looks very raw and a messes up a bit on a few drop backs. He has a damn arm but he tends to open up and be stiff with his legs after the drop backs causing him to be a little slower on his runs and scrambles. Other than that, he is a QB prospect

Lawrence will be a good player, but am I the only one who noticed that 7 of his completed throws were to whoever #4 Savion Smith was guarding!??? All catches that got a first down and more, with one being a TD to wide open man after #4 Savion Smith fell down. Another 4 of his completed passes went to whoever #28 Josh Jobe, Savion’s replacement, was responsible for with one of those going for a TD. Hmm... Great player, yes Lawrence is and will be but let’s not act like we weren’t actually watching the plays! Clemson exploited a weak link in Bama defense, #4! Even still Trevor showed toughness and a strong arm that will have him a #1 pick 2021! Lol
