I love that legit pros are starting youtube channels. I had to get all my skateboarding content from corny channels for a long time. What's crazy is the pros that have channels don't get half the views as some pure youtube skate channels. It sucks bc real pros aren't making $ off it, but it's also cool because I feel like I'm watching something rare and you have to be in the know to find it. Like gonz's channel is such a gem.
Been skating the 58mm 97 conical fulls they are a bit sticky on metal ledges and don't slide as well as the 99s, but they eat crust. Just ordered your wheel in 57. Even if it's a minor improvement over current formula I'll be stoked.
Nice! Thats kind of the point, great traction! If you’re having problems adjusting to the a softer duró meter try going down a few wheel sizes. 58 mm might be to big. I would go with a 56/57. If you reduce the size of your wheel you get less surface area. That should help with the slides.

Grew up in Jersey so ground was rough. Now in germany so the big wheels and 97 really help on the brick slab and cobble. Sick to see real pro on UA-cam. Channel is looking good
They look like radial fulls. I have the Jeff Carlyle conical fulls but they’re getting pretty small and square. Great do it all wheel. The bones x formula seem a little softer but wear out fast and feel slow. These 57s look great. Spitfire should do the big heads in formula four urethane and chart the dimensions so you know how much bigger they are than classics.
i've actually never owned a set of spitfires. not opposed, just haven't. i do like the shape, wider with a rounded edge, and 97 hardness. i like 56-60mm, and wider wheels roll smoother and help protect axle nuts from damage.
