Hi Mikey, I am a goat breeder. You have a dappled boer; if I am not mistaken, you spent quite a bit on that. Here are a couple of tips. 1. Make sure you separate Billy and the doe. They may seem that they like each other but trust me, it will be very stressful for Billy if he can't hump on your doe, and it may cause him a lot of stress, and eventually, he won't eat and only try to mate. 2. Boers are a really athletic breed. If they can jump out of her pen, could you ensure it is secured to avoid injuries? Tying them is okay but not ideal because they can cause them to be tangled and injured. Just keep them in the pen for a couple of weeks and release them to feed, and eventually, they will learn to come out to provide and come back in to sleep when it's time to sleep or rest by themselves. 3. Boers: you want to feed them different grass or leaves. Like Ipil, Ipil mixed it with Napier grass. Or any Legumes (Ipil ipil, Mullberry are most common). Also, you can provide them some salt to lick for their required minerals. (Think about it as Grass is their rice and Legumes are their ulam.) 4. Lastly, If your doe is a pure breed, breeding her with Billy would be a waste. You want to generate her with pure-blood Boer to produce great genetics. (only if you care about breeding) **Again, to reiterate** Buck and Doe don't mix. They will never be companions. They will cause a lot of stress for both of them if they hang out.

White one acts like broody hen. Usually, that is why hen becomes deffensive and starts attacking rooster. Noise that she makes sounds different and wings spread is one of the things that broody hens do. This is just my observation and i may be wrong!
You should put the pheasants in with the chickens. The flooring is far more appropriate. I feel bad for them having to walk on that concrete all day :( Congrats to Billy

Lol, I just knew your new nanny goat would be able to leap out of the pen. My cousin had to buy all new higher fencing when she got her pygmy goats: they may be little but they sure can jump :D Congratulations on all your new birds. With your plans for additional breeds of chicken, I'm imagining that in the future you may be picking up handfuls of multi-coloured eggs in the morning. I think you're right about darker, smoother stones for the water feature, especially if they slow the flow of the water, as the speed of the flow, along with the depth, may be putting off the birds from bathing. Canaries will easily breed in a mixed aviary. I have mine mixed with finches. Except for DNA testing, only the Gouldian and zebra finches are easily sexed. Besides singing, the canaries will show physical differences when in breeding condition, which is seasonal. Some of my female canaries sing, just not as well as a male. The lava rock is perfect for beneficial bacteria. The aviary looks great. Try some diatomaceous earth around and in the bird/goat food. It helps prevent parasites and ants and is completely harmless to the birds and goats.
📌Name suggestions…Since the chickens are Silkies.. what If you name them after fabrics… 🐓Velvet, Wool, Cotten, Satin or Linen… That’s kinda punny. Lol 🐐- what about Billy and Betty.. that reminds me of the Flintstones 😂 🐜🍎🐶🦜🏡🌺💕
The red stones in the fountain look great. I would not change it. Black doesn’t register on camera so the colour contrast makes the fountain pop more in videos, giving it more character on video. Those birds prefer to bath in puddles. A shallow dish with about 5 to 10mm of water. The flow is too fast for them to bath in the upper part.
Maybe to deter ants you can put the plate of food in a plate of water and maybe the water will trick and confuse them on how to cross that water layer into the food bowl??? Like a double boiler system but seeds in the middle bowl and not water of course ❤

I love silkies! All chickens would rather be on grass. They love to peck and search for bugs in the grass. It's much better for them and your eggs will taste better if they get grass and bugs to eat. It would be best for you to get another female goat.
I raised Silkies for years. So sweet and friendly once used to you. They have Red and Blue , Grey,, Black, White. You only need a Rooster if you intend to breed. They are great at Brooding other fertile eggs. With your selection of colors you will get a rainbow of colored offspring. Good luck with your newest animal friends.
Chickens should have a hen house for them to sleep with roost bars and a separate Nest Boxes for them to lay their eggs. Typically the roost bars should be higher than the nest boxes because they tend to wanna roost to the highest peak. You definitely don’t want them to sleep and lay eggs in the same place otherwise they will poop in the nest box as they poop the majority of time while they sleep. Just a little advise from a chicken keeper! PS: those Silkies are not good egg layers and they have very small eggs, they are more for pets. If you really want egg layers then look into heritage breeds specifically ones that can handle hot humid weather in the Philippines. You might go on a chicken coop builder called Carolina Coop they have amazing coops. Good luck!
Did you get the chickens for the purpose of having eggs for consumption only, and not to get chicks? Because hens don’t need roosters to lay eggs, right?
Those are nice chicks but their eggs are really small, for good eggs try Rhode Island reds or Isa browns, or if you want colorful eggs, try the easter egger or the Ameraucana. Trust me

Looks like the rooster is inexperienced or used to not be able to breed because an other rooster didn't let him and he's used to just jumping on a hen when he gets the chance. The hens will put him in place if he continues like that and yes it probably mean fighting him, then he will sulk for a little while and will be forced to learn how he's supposed to court the hens with dancing and sharing food. Once the hens accepts the rooster they will get in position before mating and it is calmer, but can include feathers being pulled out or being destroyed by the roosters legs.
I love seeing the silkies! I hatch silkies every spring! FYI - they have black skin like Ayan Cenemi from Indonesia. Silkies often love to be held if you handle them. They are a very gentle chicken. They are not the most productive eggers. Maybe 3 eggs a week.

They are great at Brooding other fertile eggs. With your selection of colors you will get a rainbow of colored offspring. Good luck with your newest animal friends.
Chickens should have a hen house for them to sleep with roost bars and a separate Nest Boxes for them to lay their eggs. Typically the roost bars should be higher than the nest boxes because they tend to wanna roost to the highest peak.
You definitely don’t want them to sleep and lay eggs in the same place otherwise they will poop in the nest box as they poop the majority of time while they sleep.

PS: those Silkies are not good egg layers and they have very small eggs, they are
more for pets.
If you really want egg layers then look into heritage breeds specifically ones that can handle hot humid weather in the Philippines. You might go on a chicken coop builder called Carolina Coop they have amazing coops.

Did you get the chickens for the purpose of having eggs for consumption only, and not to get chicks? Because hens don’t need roosters to lay eggs, right?
Just get hens and no roosters. Unless you want fertile eggs and have chicks. Those damn roosters will be vicious when they mate.
Those are nice chicks but their eggs are really small, for good eggs try Rhode Island reds or Isa browns, or if you want colorful eggs, try the easter egger or the Ameraucana. Trust me

Looks like the rooster is inexperienced or used to not be able to breed because an other rooster didn't let him and he's used to just jumping on a hen when he gets the chance. The hens will put him in place if he continues like that and yes it probably mean fighting him, then he will sulk for a little while and will be forced to learn how he's supposed to court the hens with dancing and sharing food. Once the hens accepts the rooster they will get in position before mating and it is calmer, but can include feathers being pulled out or being destroyed by the roosters legs.

I love seeing the silkies! I hatch silkies every spring! FYI - they have black skin like Ayan Cenemi from Indonesia. Silkies often love to be held if you handle them. They are a very gentle chicken. They are not the most productive eggers. Maybe 3 eggs a week.
Really would not house doe and buck together! A neutered male would be a better companion for him!
