Off topic a bit, it's very subtle but I still very appreciate the editing when it comes to cutting out the screen transitions while going through pipes or doors in these videos

random fun fact; the regular piranha plants are called pakkunfurawaa's in japan. aka eater/eating flowers. the ones that shoot fireballs are tane pakkun, or seed eater/eating. so i'm guessing the fireballs are supposed to be seeds. later games had all sorts of variants.

in english the Munchers have always been called that since their debut. (also called Muncher or something that translates to that in: Dutch, German, and sort of French?). they do directly translate to Black Piranha (Plant) in both japanese and chinese though

@panga in japanese, chinese and korean their name does translate to "black piranha" so seeing as smb3 was first released in japan (2 years before US release even) you could say that "black piranha" is their original name. i however don't believe protonjon had a lot to do with that at age 3 :p

They are completely different power ups. The Tanooki suit does not exist in SMM.

Arguably the troll level with the down arrow could have been a troll because he could have just expected you to read the title see troll level and expect the wrong door to work so the arrow pointed at the right door which is a kind of troll.
Also the second comment posted for the troll level you could go both down and up. Isn't the definition of a troll level figuring out the right decision so wouldn't pick a path be a troll level? Never expected to go down this thought train but here we are.
