Christmas Eve in Bryson

- Happy Holidays! This video is inspired by audio recorded by O. Winston Link and Corky Zider at Rural Retreat, VA, December 24, 1957.
Recorded in Railroader, a cooperative multiplayer and singleplayer railroad simulator set on a short line in transition era Appalachia - sometime in the 1940's to 1950's. It's about running freight and passenger trains - switching cars, pick-ups, set-outs, and switch lists.

I haven't been more excited for a game to release as I am for Railroader, keep up the great work! Cant wait to hear about a release date! I have been blown away by everything you guys have showed off, and I'm excited to see more!
This!!!!
It has an eerie, weirdly lonely feel that hits just right, I love it!
I think Mr. Link would approve, I wonder what he and all the old boys would've made of the ability to recreate the steam era via simulation?
This is a fun video; I hope you guys do something for Christmas this year again like this.
Another memorable clip. Thanks guys. Merry Christmas to all involved with this sim. 2023 is looking up :)
Absolutely beautiful

What happens to the engines of the firebox gones and sets off a BOOM
I have some questions, how much is it going to be on steam to get Railroader, is it a multiplayer game, and is it going to come out on the first day of January 2023?
I have some answers: We haven't announced pricing yet, it's both single and multiplayer, and no it will not come out on New Year's Day. :) Appreciate your interest!
Real nice looking! Hey I was just curious. Is VR planned for this game, like with proper controller support or anything like that?
Thanks! No current plans for VR. Would like to support controllers though.
@@railroader Ah okay. Thanks for the info!
Omg VR would be friggin awesome...
@@TheBmwDriverM3 I agree, I'm just hoping for a VR train sim besides Derail Valley, ya know?
@SeanJAnimations I have yet to try derail valley in all honesty...it just didn't appeal to me...but a realistic vr Sim would be phenomenal...I actually work for the railroad so that's as realistic as it gets, but I'm a huge fan of transition Era railroading and a vr Sim would make this sooooo appealing
