i have been knitting for a year or so. my mom couldn't figure out why my knit stitches always looked like "9s". from this video i now see that instead of knitting using the back side of the knit stitch with my right needle from behind, i need to come in from the front. thanks for the great video!

@PoCahoN8taS Thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure what "knits" you're trying to hide. As for the ends when you change colors, you must weave them in securely before trimming any excess, or the whole thing can come unraveled.
this is my first time to try entrelac and i'm surprised at myself b/c i'm able to follow your insructions. your video tutorials are very clear, you're an effective teacher! i noticed something though - i think your stitch @5:16 k2tog should have been purl 2tog instead. see i'm following? =)

@planetpurl I don't have a video but there must be dozens of them on youtube. Just look for weaving in ends.
@planetpurl Yep, those are the knits we tie to the work when we change colors... So just tie them tight and cut off in the end, huh?.. Oookay.. We'll se where I can get =)))

@PoCahoN8taS No, you have to weave in the ends. Don't just cut them off or they could unravel!

I've been trying to figure this out for 6 months now. At the end of this video, there is one hanging out on the end when you say you're done. Do I now pick up and knit to travel back to the other side of the work? Probably, I believe.

But where do you hide the knits that are left after you add a new color? What do u do with those 2nd color knits which you tie to start a new row??..just cut them off?

@whalethief Be careful to make sure you leave the yarn in front. I suspect you are puliing the yarn to the back and looping and creating the extra stitches.
About 1:45 in you say that we will now have 15 stitches on the needle. How is that possible? At the start of the video it shows 15 stitches. One left triangle and the two wrong side rectangles make 15.
I am so confused. I have finished video five but I don't know how to start the next row after video 5. I assumed I follow video 4 again, but the instructions are not making sense to me to continue on. please help...
I just watched the video and it starts with 15 stitches, then picks up 5 along the edge and at about 1:56 the video says see , now you have 15 stitches... but I end up with 20 at that point. I’ve watched it 4 tines and I come up with the same each time.

@whalethief You are making up the difference by doing p2tog at the end of every P row.
