      Way back in the day on my old TulsaPllTbFndr channel (I took channel down several years ago) I dug up an entire necklace made out of pull tabs in one of my videos 🤣

      You know, pull tabs are pretty annoying but for some reason, trash doesn't annoy me at all when I'm water detecting. I think it's because I'm swimming at the same time so it doesn't seem like work. And water detecting is just such a different animal from land detecting. It feels like more of an adventure to me because I land detect all the time but only go water detecting a couple times each year. Thanks so much for watching Randy!

    I found this video quite entertaining 😂. It doesn't hurt to switch it up a bit 🤙, a nice way to stay cool in this heat too. Glad you came across some treasure, you might be able to cash out if you scrap those pop tabs 🤣. I'm now headed to the store for grapes 😂✌️

    Awesome detecting video brother!! Just curious, but who was your influence in deciding to get into metal detecting? Mine was Aquachigger & Nugget Noggin. I've found some pretty amazing stuff with a $250 Fisher F4. If I were to get another detector, it would be your Garrett AT PRO due to the housing being water proof along with the ability to ground balance in saline soils. Thanks again for taking us along on your adventures with your shadow man! Be safe out there and God Bless!

      I'm SO glad you asked. What a great question! And I'm excited to respond because the people who inspired you are the EXACT same two people who inspired me, haha! I started watching Chig and Nugget in about 2010 and I got my first detector in 2011. Been at it ever since. Another very early one was a channel called Treasure Fiend. I really loved his videos too but I think he stopped posting quite a while back. As for Chigg and Nugget, I've seen every single one of their videos since 2010. Haven't missed an episode. I can't leave my Pawpaw(my Grandpa) out either. When I was little he was always collecting coins and he had metal detectors. He let me borrow one when I was about 13. I had fun with it but the detecting bug didn't really hit me until many years later. I've always wanted a Fisher detector. I pretty much like all detectors. If I had enough money, I'd probably own as many as possible of all brands and eras. I believe you that you've found great stuff with your Fisher F4. As we both know, if it can beep when it's over metal, that's all you need it to do. What's one of your favorite finds? p.s. sorry for the long response. I LOVE talking detecting. Thanks for watching!

      @meandmyshadow6269 Thanks so much for the response bud! Crazy our inspiration was the same!! RE: My favorite find - On my 4th hunt with the Fisher F4, I found a White Gold, 1.5 Carot FLAWLESS Diamond Princess cut ring valued & certified at 9K by our local jewler!! That was 8 years ago, Im sure the value has increased significantly since! If I wasn't digging pull tabs I wouldn't have found it. Love your videos brother and the way you weave in your faith. May the Lord richly bless your efforts as you glorify him with these hobbies and ministry you have created! Wish I was closer to go on some hunts with you! I've also been hunting artifacts for 40+ years, so I really enjoy those hunts as well! Just so you know, I never miss one of your videos! Thanks again for the response, brother. God Bless!

    Very entertaining. I always look forward to seeing your videos. I have a detector but I mainly use it now to locate our property boundaries. We have 17 acres with about 15 pins to keep track of.

      Thanks Donnie! Always good to have a detector handy. I have had several people ask me to help them find property pins over the years. I actually enjoy doing it because, of all things, I find it pretty challenging to find them sometimes. Especially if they are in a trashy site. Kind of fun in a way. It's like a scavenger hunt, haha

    Not going to lie, after a 13 hour shift at work, the water sounds after your montage made me doze off. 😂😴 Loved the video though, and yes, frozen grapes are the bee's knees. But I prefer frozen cherries. 🤤

    • @meandmyshadow6269
      @meandmyshadow6269  Рік тому +1

      First of all, 13 hours is hefty shift. Whatever it is you do, your boss needs to cut you some slack. Secondly, I promise you, you're not the first person to fall asleep watching my videos - I fall asleep just editing them sometimes. Thirdly, I gotta try frozen cherries now. I was talking to one of my co-workers today about your frozen cherries comment and we both though it sounded good but we wondered one thing: how do you negotiate the cherry pit? Because, if the cherry is frozen it seems like there could be some potential tooth-damaging confusion trying to distinguish between frozen fruit and a peach pit. Thanks for watching, Hannah!

    • @hannah0331
      @hannah0331 Рік тому +1

      No rest for the wicked when you work in veterinary medicine! Some days I work even more, depending on if we have any emergency surgeries.
      There's a difference between falling asleep because you're bored, and falling asleep because it's so soothing and relaxing. Especially when I was already tired lol.
      I know you can figure out the cherry pit problem on your own, but c'mon....pit them before freezing. 😂 Bonus points if you dip them in chocolate or greek yogurt first. EXTRA bonus points if you use Michigan cherries. We aren't the cherry capital of the world for nothin. 😉

    • @meandmyshadow6269
      @meandmyshadow6269  Рік тому +1

      @@hannah0331 Michigan is the cherry capital of the world? That's pretty cool actually. I guess being that far north, the cherries are ALL frozen already 😁. I bet your job keeps you pretty busy. Do you work with horses mostly or all animals?

    • @hannah0331
      @hannah0331 Рік тому +1

      @@meandmyshadow6269 Michigan grows 75% of the cherries in the country, and we have the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City every July. The areas surrounding Traverse City are covered in cherry orchards and it's so gorgeous in the spring when the trees are blooming. Grape vineyards too, there's a big wine industry up there.
      The hospital where I work is small animal only, but we don't see birds or reptiles. I do have a job offer from my horse's vet though, but they travel all over the country and I'm not super keen on living out of hotel rooms. Do you have any pets or are you not an animal guy?

    • @meandmyshadow6269
      @meandmyshadow6269  Рік тому +1

      @@hannah0331 That's pretty cool! Michigan sounds like a pretty cool place. As for animals, I'm not much into pets but animals do fascinate me in nature. I like learning about them and watching them on TV. I enjoy patting a dog on the head every now and again too. A good o'l farm dog is the kind of dog I can gel with.
