I love this project!❤ Elastic binding is gorgeous and practical. One of my favorite things is learning your thought process as you create. And your sense of humor is the best! Thank you❤
I would recommend using your corner round at the top and bottom corners of your signatures. Fold the paper and round the corners on the fold. The elastic is less likely to tear your beautiful papers.
Thank you Margreth! Every one of your videos inspires me to play in my craft room. I don’t have any vintage papers but I am having fun using some of the techniques you used on these, like using washi tape to reinforce thin papers and tickets for tabs. As for the Gina K Designs ink pads, I think they are a dye ink rather than pigment, so that may be why they absorb into the paper and have a rougher appearance. I’m with you- I prefer the VersaFine Clair for a precise image.
I have such vintage paper envy. You have so many wonderful papers and it is great to see you using them. Gunther is coming out amazing. A tip about inks for stamping: the Gina K ink is dye ink and dye inks tend to bead up especially on clear stamps. So they do not usually stamp very cleanly. You usually need to stamp them a couple of times using a stamp positioner if you want a crisper image. VersaFine is a pigment ink which will stamp crisp image.
Another great video Margreth. Apparently in1887 British Prime Minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil appointed his nephew, Arthur James Balfour as minister for Ireland. The phrase, 'Bob's Your Uncle' was coined when Arthur referred to the Prime Minister as 'Uncle Bob.' Yes, it just means 'and there it is' or 'it's done.' Thank you Google and thank you Margreth.💌
I feel the same way. Love the real papers. I not a fan of digitals. Want to make my own. Of course I dont have all the things you have but I've been making my own stamps. It's been fun.
Margreth, girl... what signatures!!! That is sweet of you to use all real ephemera. You will be hard pressed to sell him. Gunther is already a masterpiece!!!💜💜💜
wat een mooie papieren heb je tot nu toe gebruikrt! en wat veel! wordt het dan niet te bulky?en dan zit er nog niks in ... hihi. fijn , morgen 2 filmpjes!🤗😘😊
I like your doing this without digital papers. I am so tired of digital papers. I have a hundred books of scrapbook paper. I'm trying to fingld more to do with what I have. NOT BUYING anything new.

Ben bang dat het weer een hele dikke wordt, maar dan halen we er gewoon een paar uit 😜👍🏻😘
This journal is going to be wonderful! Can’t wait for more. May I ask, what combination on your cropadile do you use for the small eyelets?
My crop a dile is so old can’t see the markings anymore 😕 I’m just guessing every time ☺️
@@SevenplazaCreative working it out is very clever, I have trouble with it. I can’t even work out the instruction sheet 🥺
Would you just reinforce with washi if you were sewing in the signatures as well?
Yes 👍🏻
Oh this is absolutely gorgeous. Can we make this a 1000 day project
😱

can you use string or does it need to be elastic?
You can do it with string or embroidery floss. Don’t know about the rubber band, it might bend your spine or snap .
or rubberbands?
❤❤❤
