Hi Liz thanks for sharing your thoughts. It surely is an interesting time in fashion right now.I really look forward to Matthieu Blazy. I would be interested to look at the new designs. I always felt Chanel clothing makes me looks very aged.. I hope that the new designs look more modern.
Great presentation as always, thank you. To be honest I just don't know how this is going to work out, it depends if the owners give him artistic freedom. He continued to expand the Bottega bag range picking up where Daniel Lee left off. The Andiamo line continues to do well. However, I'm not convinced that he's the best designer for prêt-à-porter or haute couture. I don't mind being proved wrong though 😅
Thank you for watching and sharing your view. The haute couture dimension is also a big question mark for me, I’m curious what’s going to happen in September
Nice to hear your thoughts about the new Artistic director of Fashion Activities of Chanel. Isn’t that interesting ? They did not used the term Creative Director.
Totally, “Artistic Director of Fashion Activities” 🧐 I was wondering if they want to keep him in one “silo” because compared to Lagerfeld who was involved in so many aspects of the brand, this is quite interesting
I was excited initially for Blazy but I am not familiar with his work so after seeing all your evidence, now I am afraid. I liked the no pants look but everything else just looks like boring. Let's wait and see.
❤
🥰
Thank you for such a detailed history of Chanel and Matthieu Blazy. I'm excited to see how he will influence Chanel and the industry.
Thanks for your comment and for watching! I‘m eagerly waiting what’s going to happen too!
Good video!
Very thoughtful, educated and focused!
And…you’re not wrong.
Best wishes ❤
Thank you for watching and for your feedback!
Thank you for this presentation of Blazy! I'd also pronounce his name this way.
Thank you for watching and your feedback!

I agree, I think it would be great to see something different and a bit more modern - but without it being too gimmicky.

@ it’s a very specific title 😅 indeed maybe they want to clearly draw the lines for him not to cross 😅
@@VenustrengHT I wonder if they will hire people for additional positions
@ like a « collective » or something like that. Like they did for the makeup
@@VenustrengHT yes! I think that’s not too unrealistic

I think we can only wait and see, I think the pressure on him is very much on
