@BellsMagMusik Bells Rinat.N is an amazing person and definitely knows this artist.. she has been how I have gained most of my knowledge of Asaf and her suggestions are far supirior to mine.. when it comes to finding the best songs.. and the best VERSIONS of those songs.. Rinat.N is the go to source I assure you. Thanks for visiting Bells channel Rinat.N. Much ❤️ to you both.
@BellsMagMusik Maybe you have heard original song, but most probably it was Wankelmut remix, popular in Germany first. To this day I omit this sh... everytime algorithms put it in my playlist. It was famous. It began his worldwide career. Maybe plenty people wouldn't heard of him without it. Maybe even I myself have heard it somewhere someday. Luckily I stepped into his universe other way :)
What a treat for you! I have found both Ren and Asaf within the past few years. What a blessing ❤. Both so unique and talented. Raw artists their music pours out of their pours.
Yes. I couldn´t be happier. I´m in love with Ren´s stuff and i´m sooo excited about going deeper in Asaf´s. That was one big point why i wanted to try a reaction channel. To get recommended to (me) new music. 💚
🥀Thank you, Bells, for the amazing reaction to Asaf's performance, and thank you, Sam, for this request! !🥀 Asaf is an exceptional and versatile artist. The moment you meet him, his presence leaves a lasting impression, and his music captivates you. If you continue this journey, I'd be happy to recommend : - Her Lies in a box II - My Old Pain in a Box III I believe you'll love! 🥀
@BellsMagMusik these are more great recommendations and again it's just scratching the surface... I myself have not gone the full journey.. that's what is so cool about the comments section.. its a great source of knowledge.
Hello Welcome to the UA-cam Music Reactions community Bells! New Sub here! What an amazing choice for your first reaction to Asaf Avidan’s Reckoning Song (Aeropolis version). Isn't he jus INCREDIBLE! His vocal range is truly breathtaking, breaking so many molds. Some of his vocal techniques are so unique, they don’t even have names yet! Beyond that, his unconventional use of instruments and his ability to seamlessly weave multiple genres into a single song are unlike anything else in the music world. His lyrics are writings of poetry, and his stage performances are pure artistry, drawing in his audience in through presenting himself as human with Human emotions and desires. Thank you for shining a light on such a one-of-a-kind artist. Can't wait to see more reactions from you!
Hi there! Welcome to my channel. Looks like Asaf Avidan has some really great fans 💚 Yes if was really impressed by his performance!! And i will definitely listen to more of his stuff! I´m really excited about this! I love to go into new stuff which catches me. And it could be the case here 😁 Please give me just a little time. But there will be more...
@BellsMagMusik see Bells.. we are a patient group.. even those who are.. Up to no good ☺️.. lol.. Upnogd has a great channel called Sharing Asaf Avidian music.. that's right.. another true fan.. she puts many of these reactions on her channel too for us to find great reactions to those unsuspecting YT reactors who are fortunate enough to find Asaf.. its like I mentioned earlier in that novel of a reply.. many of us connect through these artists.. and one thing her and I agree on completely.. is we both wonder 🤔 Why isn't this man a household name? 😃
@@SamSnips Lol that's my vanity plate on my vehicle, but I also get it a lot for my smile. Its a corner side smile as if I were up to no good lol , so it stuck. but yes we are a group of marathon runners not sprinters (-‿◦) your like me @SamSnips I actually failed College English for too many pages. Missed you at todays reaction. Hope to see you soon. :)
Hey Bells, a great reaction.. you are exactly correct.. with Asaf.. You don't hear his music.. YOU FEEL IT!! I love how he puts so much of his energy into the performances. That voice is definitely unique, I love the story of the moment that inspired this song. He puts so much passion into his performances especially when he has a audience like this one.. I think you will love his song, 900 days.. be sure you choose the one that is from his series In a Box III - 900 days.. In all his songs from the In a Box series are done at what I believe is a abandoned church.. and it is just Asaf, his instruments and his mic.. or in this case Mics.. Asaf is a absolute master with the loop machine.. you will see in the 900 days song.. he becomes a one man band.. He creates a song, with layers using the loop machine.. all live in front of your eyes.. he becomes a one man band, and it is mesmerizing. Asaf is self taught, in fact he hadn't picked up a guitar till he was in his 20's he writes his own songs.. always full of metaphors .. he has a big catalog.. I hope you continue down this rabbit hole. I will make sure some Asaf fans come in and give you some more suggestions.
@Rinat.N I know... lol.. this was one with Bells was one I had requested actually.. I had some stuff going on with family the past few days.. I haven't seen the newest one from Bill.. but the other night, I watched Bill for the first time on his Asaf song My latest Sin.. OMG!! thar reaction.. with the interviews.. wow.. It was late and I was too tired to write everything I was thinking.. I mean.. that one will be a legit novel. 😆 🤣 Bill is amazingly thoughtful.. had great insights. I definitely have to comment on that one today. 😃 . This one from Bells was one I requested and had been waiting for it to clear copyright.. so when it popped up yesterday I took a bit of time for her reaction. It was good.. she had heard the song.. but not from him actually.. and definitely not this version. But it was good.. she is very open to checking out more. But.. yeah I definitely need to get caught up.. especially with Bill.. I mean if they are all like that My latest Sin reaction.. then.. my mind will be blown for sure. Hope you are well.. I will definitely get into Bill's comment section later today though. Thanks for the suggestion. ❤️ 👍
Hi Sam, i´ve waited for you comment on this video 😉 thanks for watching and giving more backroundinformation. Oh i will definitely watch more of his stuff and have your recommendations on my list. Please give me just a litte time. I want to do so much, but have so little time for this because i can only do it during the nights 😅 but for sure i will listen to more Asaf Avidan. 💚 Thank you for bringing me on this journey!
@BellsMagMusik well Bells thank you for your kind words.. as you can see, I am not alone in my fascination with this brilliant artist.. I think you will find.. as you dive into his work.. this performance is a good example of the passion he puts into the performances.. but you have just scratched the surface here.. the talent is undeniable.. but the substance behind the music is so good.. you know you find these tv show contestants singers.. and some have amazing voices.. and they capture your attention with these wonderful vocals.. but sadly, many of them get scooped up by the industry.. they will have ghost writers and background musicians.. and it can be nice at times.. but it's rare to feel a connection to those singers.. I think it's because the substance isn't there.. it isn't that they don't have talent.. they do.. they hit some cords, and it's pleasing to your ear.. but.. when the artist writes their own music..own lyrics.. play their own instruments.. It's different.. it doesn't just sooth your ears.. it touches your soul.. the passion for something they created pours out of them.. you know.. you are an artist.. you write your own music.. your own lyrics.. I mean.. a good singer can definitely take a cover and make it uniquely theirs to a certain extent.. I mean, I have seen covers that are wonderful.. but there is something special when a person has all those same qualities that you hear from the game show singers.. but the words came from their pen..the sound came from their fingers as they played their instruments.. a portion of the artist pours out of the artist.. Asafs music is felt.. It's connected with.. and it has that substance we all look for.. that connection to music. I am not nearly articulate enough to convey the message properly..but luckily we have these artists that do not need any of my words.. the only thing I need to say is.. hit play.. and when you do, the artists' performances say everything that needs to be said. In our society of technology and social media's I think it's difficult to make true connections with our fellow man.. but through musicians we find common grounds.. we find connections to the artists and to those who also connect to their art. I am grateful I have found those connections.. with artists like Ren and Asaf and others.. I find these independent artists remind me of what I loved about music before it became so commercialized.. these great artists are not here to earn money and fame.. if those things come from it.. so be it.. but it isn't the driving force.. and I find that too often the mainstream artists give me that vibe.. that they are a tool being used by companies to generate views.. if that makes sense. Hmm.. I'm rambling.. but I guess I'm just pointing out that the passion one has for music that they had they created.. created from thoughts in their mind.. songs that tell their own story.. or express a core feeling, and it's something special. Lastly.. when he speaks of how this song was created.. the moment that inspired the song.. the story is amazingly captivating.. his description paints the whole picture.. its great.. but what I also appreciate about Asaf as a writer.. he purposely writes the lyrics without a clear interpretation.. I mean.. as you can hear by how he tells the story.. that he could have clearly articulated everything from his perspective.. but the lyrics are left vague enough to allow the listener to form their own connection to the song. He tells the audience.. he knows many view this song as a reminder to make moments count.. to live..LIVE IN THE NOW!! Seize the day.. even though that wasn't what the song was about to him.. but his writing allows for interpretation.. I mean it's brilliant writing.. if we got 200 people to listen.. although many would have some similarities.. odds are there would be 200 different stories if we played just the song.. without his story.. there would probably be 200 different descriptions of what that song meant to them.. THAT'S A SONG WRITER.. AND THAT IS AN ARTIST. Thank you so much for this video.. and thanks to anyone who read through all this comment.. sorry for the novel.. but thanks for listening. Take care and God Bless
