I love when Sev gets protective of his lady! The idiot that accosted her in the Three Broomsticks better get as far away as he can, otherwise he might find himself being used as a test subject for new potions and spells. Sev is known to have created seven new spells during his time as a student, and he improved upon the recipes for existing potions as well. He could have been a Ravenclaw just as easily as a Slytherin for that aspect of his personality. His creativity and ability to thnk outside the box are what Ravenclaws are famous for, after all, and he's smart as a whip to boot.
An angry Snape is a scary Snape. Ol boy better fly as far and as fast as he can on the best broomstick he can find otherwise it won't end well for him.
