This actually had a very similar result to the real battle of Arnhem bridge. The British paras held the bridge against a much larger heavier force but suffered appalling casualties.
Obviously Diplex is too excited about the WW1 mod to the point he's putting it in his title unknowingly. Don't worry son, it'll be here soon enough.

If General Rommel was there to defend that bridge it would be a massacre for the British 101st, rangers and paratroopers. There is no #bridgetoofar for FM Rommel.
I suggest you to make playlist for all your type of video like "line defense" "campaign." "ww1" all this stuff you know
Much as i hate saying it the AI derped the hell out, that Panzer 4 just stared at enemies most of the time and didn't fire at enemies directly in front of it's coaxial MG.
jpc1918 the tanks never know what they wanna shoot and just constantly change targets, it's pretty frustrating to watch like you said

diplex, the battle of the castle you were talking about in the intro is not really the last battle of the war but a very special one tho. it is the only battle where germans(deserters) and americans fight alongside eachother against the ss to hold a castle.
Wasteland season 2. Just a statement, you by no means have to continue it Diplex. I and many others who loved the series will still watch your videos, just please tell us if Season 2 will be happening.

Wasteland was by far my favorite series of his. I know it took a lot of effort but it showed. 10/10 should make again

I love the story of castle itter the only time the germans and us fought on the same side in the war. and then all the others who fought in it.
I seem to remember you doing a video ages ago on a massive map, and talking about how it would be amazing to see a huge tank battle take place, are we ever going to get that? Also, what happened to the mini-series where you had all the experimental vehicles and had a bit of a turnabout in regards to the fact the Germans kept winning, we going to see a continuation of that ever?
Hey Diplex, you should check out the sound mod "Ank Sound Mod". It's kind of like the other sound mod you used a year ago, but this one is being actively updated.
This reminds me of that COD1 mission when your plane crashed and you had to fight over the bridge. It might have been the same battle.

Hey DiplexHeated, plz read I'm starting up my own project for CTA is going to be call (Project Ruins) this project will have 5 map and 5 maps only. There will be 100x100,200x200,300x300,400x400,500x500. What this project is, its a challenge to make 5 city maps that look like they been through hell etc. The whole goal of this project is not only its theme. But the maps will be limited to how much detail that will be on it. So it's running fine for the Average player. So using decals, colors etc will be very important using these effects on the city so fps dose not get effected as much. It's going to be a hard one. Theses maps will look very detail by using color,decals etc. Try making a city that looks like it's been in hell without places down too much object will be hard but I believe that the people I select for this are up to the task. This won't go by easy.

this battle took place in the Netherlands and im Dutch.

The map would be so much better if the bridge was higher then the buildings.
salaminl1 it would have been preferable to have a better bridge but you can only work with whats in mow sadly, if we were to make a model that size for the map it would have taken weeks im afraid

salaminl1 that does not mean we will never make unique models for maps though, ive recently made a bridge replicating that of ramelle and im also making a scaled model of neuschwanstien ;)
The bridge is very similar , apart from the beams , and @TomSketches is making some great models for me and diplex for the future.
