That was horrific. I'm not sure what was the most disturbing. The complete lack of facial animation, the widespread use of cheap Xmas light strings with matching controllers or the large amount of obviously defective electrical equipment that should have been making things rotate, move or even light up.

I love that the operators of the ride clearly couldn't even be bothered to properly loop the ride's audio so you always get that brief 1-2 seconds of silence (a perfect time for the zombie dolls to attack).

The scariest part of this whole ride is how dark some of the sets are. It just makes the dolls seem creepier

Wow!, that was really, really sad and scary. I would have demanded my money back on that one ride alone. Half the lights and electronics didn't work and I hope they even clean the water, may be mold growing on all that crap.

I've heard of one that said A mother was reading it's a small world it broke down and she started taking pictures and she got a picture of a hanging Boy but it's just a doll on a swing set but yeah I guess it's a small world could be creepy but still

I keep expecting things to just fall over or like a chain reaction like in the simpsons ride. The Dolls even look pissed to be there. The sad thing is I think everything actually WAS supposed to move and only 10 percent of it was working. What makes it all ten times more unbearable is that sure Disneyland used the same song the whole ride but it varied based on nationality or at least region or theme. (Tropical in Hawaii, Etc and in different languages too) But here its the same exact segment of the song over and over without ANY change whatsoever. I actually began to question how many people like half way through bailed on the ride and waded their way out lol.

When the kid cheers to see the ride is ending and silently avoids answering the question, "Did you like that?" You know it's a bad ride. And it was hellishly creepy!! And how is Disney allowing them to use the Small World song? That's just wrong too.
snowsbeau It's China. For one, the owners probably threw the ride together as cheaply as they could which gives off a creepy vibe. Who knows if all of it is actually functioning too. As for Disney, I imagine it would be difficult for them, a US company, to actually do something about it.

You know, I noticed that none of the dolls or animatronics are moving with the exception of what's up on the ceiling. It's probably either the theme park is too cheap to afford any animators to operate the robots or they're god damn lazy of turning them on. I mean they're more motionless than the Dudley Do-Right and Popeye ones at Islands of Adventure!

I had a very dooming feeling whilst watching this, thanks for posting :) About the Mattel signs--at Disneyland in California, back in the early 90s, the beginning (or end) of the real "It's a Small World" ride had the Mattel signs as well; apparently they sponsored the real ride for a while. So, perhaps there's some kind of connection that we're not aware of.

Yeah, as a kid, this is more what I remembered the dolls looking like on the actual ride, but then when I went again, I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the dolls actually looked. This is just terrifying. I can't imagine being kid riding this.
