They didn't seem as excited as Nate and Jeremiah's other couples. They didn't run and hug them, at least on this video clip. I hope they did hug them in the end -- as Nate and Jeremiah did a beautiful job!! They were very fortunate to have Nate and Jeremiah's design eye for the interior design of their home. Everything Nate and Jeremiah does is so elevated and beyond beautiful!!!
@@johnpickford4222 They believe me because I've been cooking for over 50 years! I don't need a show to know the practicality, or lack thereof, in design.
Just WOW it is BEAUTIFUl I LOVE it! Well done guys. Just LOVE EVERYTHING wish it was my little home... It would have been nice to see the REST of the house.
After binge watching this series all day, the main criteria for attracting N&J to a project is a s**t ton of money for them to spend. I totally respect it👍💵💵💵💵💴🤑
Because of being cooped up in their houses during COVID I've read that many people have been moving away from open concept because they found that they needed some privacy and alone time which open floor plans don't provide. Also, people don't like seeing dirty dishes, bar stools and refrigerators from the front door.
gray black gray black ... that is all the designers do. It is like that magenta floor tile he talked about. soon it will be out of style. Then he said you think it is to dark, No I LOVE it... it is not about you dude... it is about them... She loves cottage core and that is color.
I know, I was wondering about that! During the initial de-brief in the family room, I thought she said she liked the beige and wood tones, and that they were going to be going for like an elevated cottage chic, and I don't know where that went.
This house is practically a family heirloom. I hope he's ensured its security. Stunning job, boys, love it!! Where are the bedrooms though? And where did she get her flowers framed like that?
There are places online that will frame flowers like that. My daughter did that 15 years ago and the flowers are just as beautiful today as they were then
I love Nate and Jeremiah. When I watch the renovation process and the finished product, I think about how would I shop to reno my house. The wife said "I never even saw a stove like that". When I shop for furniture or appliances, just as an average homemaker, I like to look at every price range. How do I know what I like if I do not look at everything? We get set in our economic comfort zones. Can we just treat ourselves to an upgrade occasionally?
This is not my favorite of theirs. The rooms still look like they feel compartmentalized to me. That fireplace mantle is beat to hell and back. And it’s weird using Mediterranean design elements in decidedly non-Mediterranean climates. But I’m glad the homeowners like it-that’s what counts
I do like open concept. But so have a feeling the old days of desperate rooms swollen coming back. Just like carpets have disappeared they WILL COME back again. Because how much more modern can we go. We have to go back in time again to bring back some of those same comforts that our parents and grandparents lived with. Modernization can only go so far when the real comforts of home start to disappear.
It looks much better but…I’m not a fan of the arches. It closes off space. I hate the stove being boxed in. The countertop should abut the stove for ease of moving pans and plates without going around a wall. I would have begged them or their help to remove the wing walls around the stove.
The arches around the stove are not practical, and they didn't show the dining room ,to me it was very generic and didn't reflect their style. In this case I think that they missed the mark.
zzzzzzz id be so disappointed, kitchen is nice if you are planning to spend most of your time in it, but i dont get that feeling its just a big space to open the pizza that got delivered lol No living room? sofas, cosy fireplace to sit around in the winter, just a big old table that doesnt look welcoming and to be honest ive been to homes where fireplaces are next to the dining table and its a nightmare, the owners love the cosy glow from the fire but from the moment you arrive you know everyone is vying for the seats furthest away from the fire lol, overheating while you are eating is not comfortable :(
The alcove stovetop has no counter space, everytime they gotta work around it. It could get annoying after a while. The house looks dark, not airy & bright too, terribly designed.
I don't know why you'd take a bright and airy house and paint some of the walls dark with black countertops and backsplash. I have a problem with major depression which is why I don't like it, but dark is probably fine for people who have more stable moods. They sure made the tiny house look bigger. They did a good job on that. Black, grey and white is so boring.
Love everything these two design

They hugged them at the onset of the video! Regardless, what does that have to do with them reno'ing the house?
Never liked arches around a stove, because they block prep area next to the stovetop.
It's just silly...transfering hot pots and pans or adding ingredients will be a total pain in the ass.
Was about to comment the same thing. It's not practical.
@@sandraaj Exactly.

Dining room/Family room please! I want to see if there is a reason to have a big dining area in the front room.
Just WOW it is BEAUTIFUl I LOVE it! Well done guys.

Yes, what do the bedrooms and bath(s) look like? $120 k for first floor area only??
Great home remodel, now it’s time for this 1953 single family home to be on your show next in Maryland
Loved this whole make over. Loved the colours in everything,... the floors! ❤
$125,000 but no room for a descent coat or a bathroom?
Absolutely stunning home makeover. You guys are the best!!!! 💯👍🏼
THIS KITCHEN IS STUNNING!
What a wonderful transformation!

Very cool completion. Love that fireplace mantle! Kudos Nate and Jeremiah!
I don't like walking into a house and seeing the dining room first. I think it should always be the living room.
One day we'll be watching UA-cam videos of designers closing in rooms and mocking how open and boring it used to be.
😅
Hope they don't bring back shag carpet or pink everywhere! Lol!
Yes,it will be like in 2030 this is soooo……20s😂😂😂. What a wonderful house (for 2023😂). Best of luck to this lovely couple😊😊

i’m already here and I HATE this style.
Gorgeous❤
Love the all black outfit on Jeremiah ❤❤
Beautiful as usual. J & N always do a great job ❤

Yikes the stove area! Where are you suppose to put plates and prep your food. It’s going to be very difficult to clean.
That was incredible!!

For me, it's beyond unwelcoming to get straight to a table and no seating options when you enter a home. I home they have another entry!
My HS sweet heart and I bought our first house a 1953; 4 bd 2bath 1,927 sqft. We need your advice to remodel our forever home. ❤
Very strange de dinner room on the entrance. For me I make de inverso, the fire place make the living room more cosy .
was nervous but you did a beautiful job, a little Italianate
“There’s something in my shoe.”…
“Well, Nobody does that in a loafer” 😂🤣🤣🤣
Love the kitchen
Nobody does that 🔨in a Loafer 🤣

Where is the living room?
Love you guys (you're adorable together), but marble is so fussy. I know there are other stone options that are equally beautiful and timeless.
looks pretty

sweet it's second generation family home.
That closed in stove is for someone that doesn't cook! It would be like trying to flip burgers in a closet! BAD CHOICE BOYS!!!
Exactly what I was thinking, disaster waiting to happen
I love all your designs but the arch over the stove taking up space beside the stove when cooking is not right....
They did not seem too excited 😢
Crushed 💒🌺🌹
Love it all - until I saw the arch over the stove. What a nightmare that would be… and super unsafe too.
Can you come to Canada?

I didn't like this one at all. Too many materials, a bad mix of old and new furniture and the color palette is weird.

It's frustrating when some of my comments duplicate. I've only noticed a few of other people's comments that do this.
I think I didn’t like it. 🤔😑
I love your show can not stand the edit job.. the focus in on faces and reply of something said it’s dizzy
Go back to old format
Just imagine the feet reek after a day of wearing dress shoes and no socks. That's just gross.
I don't wear socks and my feet don't smell.
@@L.Spencer My feet and shoes don't smell, either. I think it's more typical for men and people who perspire a lot.
