There are a couple of ways to voice it but here's 2. 1) in the left hand play an Eb and an A (that's the b7 and 3rd of F) in the Right Hand, play a Db maj chord (Db F Ab) that's the #5 1 and #9, respectively. 2) you can play a Absus(b9) in the right hand (Ab, A, Db, Eb) and an F Bass. The Ab is the #9, the A is the 3, the Db is the #5, and the Eb is the b7. In the first option the bass is implied. Hope this helps. B. Blessed.
Thank you so much for this informative video! I'm in love with Robert Glasper's style of composing, but I find it hard to figure out his songs by ear, especially with his really dense chords and extensions. And oftentimes the chords don't seem to follow any conventional key! I hope someday I can figure them out as well as you.
mannn... you killed this.. i wish i could learn .. im self taught. I can play this. slowly.. but I couldn't do it if you asked me to in another key.. lol

Hey man, great videos! I need to ask you, if you can't reach the 10th with only your left hand, how would you recommend to play the voicings with 2 hands? Thanks
Hello Mr Leeman, you can play the tenth as a 3rd in left by bringing the root up an octave. Or you can play the 10th as an arpeggio instead of as a chord. Will try to demonstrate in a video in the near future.
Tuned it about three months before the video. Being in Texas the weather is very inconsistent therefore, tuning is all over the place. Anyways, I do have keyboards, but since I perform quite a bit, I don't usually have time to set them up and make videos. Hence why I don't have many videos. The digital piano is in the works, And this piano will soon be retired. LOL. Also, that video was posted 2012 and I have received other comments about the tuning therefore I don't really make many videos and most of my work is done via MIDI, email and dropbox. Again, thanks for listening.
***** Hi Joel, I've liked the Facebook page and looked for the Dropbox link for Move Love but I can't find it anywhere. Could you please send me the link? :) I'm also really interested in this sound after hearing Black Radio.. I'm originally a drummer but I would love to learn keys and was wondering if you could steer me into the right direction. Could you recommend any helpful resources or easy songs that have a sound or style like this? Thank you!
