Madeira 4k - Exploring The Beautiful Secrets Of Ponta Delgada

Let's go explore Ponta Delgada! In this video we're going to explore an abandoned pier. It was my first time going there, because the road is crumbled and it's quite dangerous. We'll also be walking the old streets of Ponta Delgada, visiting the "romeiros" and the church, called Igreja do Senhor Bom Jesus.

0:38 It was my first time going to that old pier, the part where the road is almost completely gone is kind of scary, not to mention dangerous lol
3:40 The romeiros are statues remembering the people who came from all corners of the island on foot to Ponta Delgada, to honor Jesus Christ. This is a very old tradition, and some people still do it to this day.
6:49 This part of the church used to freak me out so much when I was a kid 😵‍💫

I had nightmares because of those statues when i was a little kid! 😵‍💫🤣 Not abandoned, just too hot and too much humidity, everybody is hiding under their beds 😂😂🥵
