This single was released two days ago and I knew right away that it's the song to sing, so I set a goal to get it all done and published in 12 hours the day after. It's my first time trying something like this. Here we are 💪.

Just a quick one, how did you go about recording this? Have you captured the audio and synced up the video. Or more of a live take? I'm looking at doing simalar things just wondering how you go about it, solid vocal cover mate really good! 😁👍
This is a few live takes combined + some mixing of course. So not everything you see is the actual take. I’m working towards being able to achieve this type of quality without having to have more than one take, which is extremely difficult. There are great cover channels out there, people who do songs in one take, and I deeply admire them 😎

After the "HUH" I thought you were gonna use the harsh high pitch for the next chorus that Sam used in the beginning of "The Distant Blue". And I believe that you have the ability to reach it! Great cover man! :)
I am DEFINITELY aiming to hit that stuff man! On this one I tried to do what Sam does on the original ”Dead Butterflies” track. He’s such a boss when it comes to his style and technique, a true beast.

Funny thing that you mentioned cancer since I’m dealing with one myself right now😄Yep, I have a band (in which I sing) called Stormic but it’s inactive at the moment and the stuff on UA-cam & Spotify is old. Stefanovszkiyj Wal it’s all good, my hopefully last chemo cycle kicks in a bit over a week from now and If all goes well I’m off to a monitoring phase (meaning cured for now). The cancer is the reason why i’m pushing myself to become better, there’s no need to waste time on waiting you know 😉it would be cool if somebody from the band saw this video. But all in time.
