I had to look it up. Capitol Reef, reef refers to a barrier to land navigation, like a coral reef can be a barrier to nautical navigation. Nice video and as always great job with the tunes. Something different and nice
Hi Adam, Thanks for sharing your Utah Trip videos. I follow both of your channels and enjoy both. Me and my wife are heading there soon starting from Salt Lake City to Yellow stone, Teton down to Dinasaur valley , Moab, Canyon land, Monument valley up to Hanksville ,Route 12 , down to Bryce and Zion and finish in Vegas. All in 16 days! We are booking tent camp sites in parks and plan many hikes. Any tips or advice to share with us will be greatly appreciated.
I guess you are going Goblin valley State Park next. Try to hike the Little Wild horse canyon. Easy flat hike for you both. You can go until you get a rock blocking the path and turn back. It's a beautiful nice slot canyon.
I think 22’ would be pushing it for finding a parking spot unless you got there early. It’ll make the drive, it’s just a smallest parking area at the end. I would suggest stay at the Fruita campground then head down the drive in the morning.
We love your videos. We moved to Hurricane UT 4 years ago and just recently got our first RV, a B class Coachmen Beyond. Lots of fun. I was wondering which book you are using for you Park Cancelation stamps? Thanks
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR TAKING ME ALONG ON YOUR BEAUTIFUL TRIP. i ALWAYS LOVE GOING WITH YOU. i ONLY WISH i COULD BE OUT THERE SEEING THE BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS.. :-)
Enjoy Capitol Reef NP. You need to drive the Cathedral Valley road. It is not a hard technical trail. Just a lot of off pavement miles and fun. Lots of things to see that most visitors don't get to see. The most difficult part is fording the river right at the start of the road. It is a loop so you don't have to cross it on the way back. Definitely don't run the road from the other end. If you get all the way back to the river and can't cross then you have to go all the way back around. I did it in my 4runner. You would not have any problems.
I love these videos. I'm a Brit so unfamiliar with your country, when you are out walking these paths is there a danger from say wolves or bears? I know know where the inspiration for the Road Runner cartoons came from!
Picking the apples in the fall is so much fun!!! The deer and the turkeys just walk right around you in the orchards and campground!!
