The DuoLingo Irish voice seems to be Connemara Irish too, which Is lovely but that's not my dialect (I;m from Munster, Waterford specifically so Gaeltacht na nDéise would have a different twang to their Irish
Definitely agree that it’s great to hear you pronounce the words as that “feature” isn’t as robust in the Irish Duolingo course as it is for some of their other ones. Go raibh maith agat for sharing this lesson with us!
I have started learning Irish in Duolingo, as well. My mother tongue is English, but I also speak German that I learned in highschool & Uni. I hope to at least become conversant, and also be able to pronounce words properly!
With other languages with every word you click on it says the pronunciation. It makes me sad as a novice that it doesn’t do that for the Irish words 😢
