Yeah, most of us know that P Diddy is a horrible and corrupt person and some of these allegations are true but why does it take her so long to report these allegations and why is it civil court and not criminal?
Because this is a money grab. If she felt diddy sexually assaulted her, she would have came forward immediately. For some reason, had to wait years.

I can't answer the latter question, but as for the former, a lot of victims of abuse don't realise until years later what has happened to them or the extent of it. Some are so traumatised they just don't want to think about it. Some are scared of the repercussions (especially from someone as powerful as Diddy). Some don't want to be re-traumatised by having to do police interviews or not being believed. Some believe they deserved the abuse. There's a ton of reasons.

They DO need legal documents in place with clear understandings.
