Pretty good, but .... Didn''t fold down the second row to show max storage or flat space. Didn't show that second and third rows recline. What about heated or ventilated seats. Exterior dimensions? Ground clearance? Still, overall a very accurate and solid video given the time limit. Thanks!
Just bought ours last week. Almost the same car as what you reviewed. We LOVE it. Due to some major bad luck (thankfully none of it our fault but our insurance company hates us) in the last 5 years we’ve owned a pilot, palisade, telluride and now the Grand Highlander. As you can imagine, we’ve test driven almost every mid size suv out there since we’ve had to buy so many darn cars. The Grand Highlander hybrid is my favorite by far.

Hi momma! It would’ve been nice to see if the back can still be accessible with fwd facing car seats, if we need to use it on a pinch and don’t have time to remove the car seats… 🤔😊👍
Hey, that’s a good point. My kids have recently outgrown car seats and so i don’t always want to drag them around with me. 🙃

with the third row seats down and the second row pushed up front how much length is there
I'm not exactly sure.. but there's a lot of cargo space - would there be passengers in the second row? if not, you can lay them flat as well.

Great review! I’m debating between this and the TX. Mainly because we would need the hybrid Max setup. There are 5 of us, sometimes friends and luggage etc. We do a lot of road trips.
Hey! Having driven both they’re fraternal twins. With Lexus being more “lux” and Toyota having that hybrid option. (I would prefer the hybrid max myself! )
But space wise they’re the same!

I was 90% around town and I averaged 34

Looks like 3 across in the back would definitely be tight
No mid size suv will comfortably fit three in the third row. If you need that, you better go up to a full size suv
We just need a bathroom and a kitchen and we don’t need a house. 😅

Just bought my wife one of these. Had to trade in her Jeep Wrangler + $39k cash. These cars aren’t cheap but hers has literally every option for the limited 2.5l hybrid. I wish the dealer had more options but it’s really nice. Gas mileage is a game changer.
Unfortunately one can not use a child seat in the middle row, middle seat unless you buy a cheaper LE model. Why does Toyota only offer a bench seat in the lowest trim levels. It’s poor management thinking.
You can get bench seat on limited too
@@chowchow3335depends if the dealer ordered the bench seat . Considering it’s a $0 option I find it ridiculous that they just don’t include it by default

That thin clunky aluminum hood bouncing around on the highway really pisses me off.... So does their thin tinny sounding doors when you close them.
I don’t notice that about the hood! I did find the hybrid engine to be loud

The offset crash test is useless
i checked it out the new 4 cyl engine it is very load .its a 4cyl turbo but sounds horrible when ypu start it. Sounds like a tercel enine only loader when you start it...Also they raised the rear loading platform so high my border collies cannot jump into it, we have a 2018 4 runner limited v6 and that v6 is so quiet when you start it and the dogs can jump right into the back when you open the hatch. if that new 4 runner has this same load 4 cyl turbo there no way i will buy one . SHAME on TOYOTA for building an engine thats so noisy it really is bad and hame on the engineers LOOK how high in the video the rear loading platform is when the lady doing the video talks about dropping the rear seats look when she is leaning against the bumper ity freaking too high
It's an SUV with 8" of ground clearance dude. You need to buy a Sienna mini-van like the other soccer moms. 🤦🏻♂
A minivan is much better mom's car.
