Agreed. The LPF is indeed part of the amplifier. Anyway, the harmonic content of push-pull amps will be low in 2nd harmonic so the highest will probably be 3rd which will likely be around 20dB below fundamental. So the sum of the power in all the harmonics should be significantly less than 10%. Not really significant. Agreed in the two-tone test. Only way to test an ssb amplifier.
hey buddy iwant help form you I have 8 rf amplifier and each output power is more than 1.5 kw and these are pulse amplifier And 8 of these combine useing 8 to 1combiner and total output is more than 8kw but After repair these amplifiers the total out is less than 4kw is it happen because of phase matching or impedance matching what is different of that and i have R&H vector network anylizer with in the range of 1ghz to 4.5ghz Amplifier range is 1250mhz to 1350mhz pulse amplifier pulse is 14microsecond I use VNA WITH RATIO OF B1/B2 AND CONNECT ATTENUATOR TO REDUSE POWER THEN SIGNAL GENARATOR OUT PULSE WITH 1300MHZ THEN VNA SHOW CERTAIN POINT PHASE ANGLE VARIED AGAIN AND AGAIN WHAT IS THE REASON FOR THAT
This output power is meaningless without running it through an appropriate low pass filter for each band. Your "Bird watts" show all the garbage harmonics, as well as the fundamental. LPFs are _NOT_ an optional extra for testing or using these amps. Show how many "Bird Watts" you have AFTER an appropriate LPF. You need to also show the waveform on a scope, as measured across the dummy load. If it is not a pure sine-wave, even the mighty Bird readings are plain inaccurate. NONE OF YOUR VIDEOS SHOW THE POWER UNDER CORRECT USAGE. Nor do they show linearity and IMD. Without this setup and these readings, your measurements mean nothing. Please do it properly, using a cleaned up sine wave output and a 2-tone IMD test, You know that some CB guy who buys an amp from you will NOT put an LPF after it? So sell them as part of the amplifier. Anything else is irresponsible.

The amplifier can operate 100% heavy duty. For example, a 48-hour contest delivering maximum power?
Nice amp, great work
Thanks for your comments!!!

Can you make HF plus 6meters ? Power wise about 600 to 650 watts. 73 AE4OY WILLIE P.
Sorry, I am not building anymore "Boxes" at this time. I offer the boards to build your own. Please check out my web site. rflinear-amplifiers.com

50A :O
The 50 volt power supply is rated for 50 amps. The amplifier draws 40 amps which provide 10 amps for margin. Regards
