Sitar Niketan was founded and established formally in 2015 by Maestro Alif Laila who has a concert and teaching career of almost twenty-five years..
Sitar Niketan Ensemble is proud to be the first-ever If it’s Kind in the DMV area. Students of all ages and stages of learning are trained under the care and guidance of Guru Alif Laila to spread the peaceful resonance of South Asian classical music in the sitar.
