Now that I see the movement from the lower level to the upper level back down to the lower level all I can say is - BRILLIANT! Way to go JD!
Thank you!
Real nicely done ride. I've recently started to ballast my atlas track , my two main runs, on my much smaller 18 ft by 24 ft trainboard. Its quite an effort to pour, shape, paste. Let me know when your ready to ballast. I'd love to drive up, help ballast, and see the fun. You'll need the help. Much appreciated. Gary
Great camera angle. Layout is looking great. Thank you
I call shot gun!
But mom said I can ride shot gun
Sorry I couldn't make it instantly, I had outdoor ed

Hi Jason. Glad those NS Railroader and intermodal Freights and intermodal containers didn’t get damaged. Great progress on the layout.
Me too! Those things aren't cheap LOL

Thank you!
Great ride around the mountain and the upper loop, Jason. Lots of room for long freights! Very enjoyable!
JD, this video inspired me to buy a new 4K action camera. My latest layout video features a ride along with the camera on a flatcar ahead of the engine. These videos really help us know where we need to add scenery.
Awesome! And yes, lot's of scenery ideas.
Thanks for the ride 👍👍
i see the roundhouse is up
Correct ;)
Jason, your video was fantastic and really shows the work you’ve done so far. I can only say that I’m very impressed and envious. 🚂
WOW! Just wow! I could watch this over and over - it’s awesome. What did you use for the camera?
Thanks! GoPro Hero 9
Mighty impressive.
Great layout! Considering the cost of Plywood these days, I'd say it equals 3 or 4 Starter sets?
A different perspective is always refreshing. Your train room and layout are always a pleasure to view. It's coming along nicely. Thank You 👍
Awesome layout/track plan. Love the signaling, the incline, the decline and the mountain design. Together they offer a lot of visual interest.
A big thank you!
amazing video jason i always love watching your videos
Thank you!
Hey I’m building a smaller layout but what’s the curve diameter of your curves, I’m sure you have answered this before. Thanks, Jared
Hello Jason, I enjoy watching you run trains on your layout. I have a question, where did you purchase your two Truss Bridges? I am upgrading my very small layout and need to purchase two Truss Bridges. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.
Layouts like yours are inspiring. I’m alway checking to see what’s new from you. 👍
Appreciate it!
Awesome video Jason. Love seeing your layout from this perspective.
Also love the B&OCT caboose. " Big ups 👍 from Chicago "Train Dawg "!
Jason where did you find the NS locomotive front wall mount? Another NS fan must know.
That's from Stoddarts, but they're currently closed and moving to a new shop.
@@JDStucks Thanks Jason I will keep a eye out for it
On my Lionel tubular track layout: signals,,, signals????!!! We don’t need no stinking signals!!
Great train ride and the cost of a ticket was great haha. Derailment?? Norfolk Southern style lol lol, just yanking your chain LOL
Looking good Jason! that was pretty cool to see the layout from that prespective!.... side note, whoops...uh at least it didn't land on the floor lol..looks like it wasn't in the "ideal " place

Wow watching the entire ride from that prospective gives an amazing view of your layout instead of seeing it during your videos from the side line. It is such an amazing scene. You can actually see all the hard work you put into it. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pretty cool seeing it from the locomotive's point of view, good job 😊😊

Wow, that gives such a whole new perspective on your layout!
Did you amaze yourself when you looked at the footage?
Nice touch finishing with that coal train! ;)
Yes, I always enjoy the cab ride videos of my layout :)
Amazing. That ride says it all. A lot of thought was put into track planning. Job well done.
Thank you very much!
Thanks, Jason, that was awesome!
Mountains are looking great !
Great ride. Thank you.
Nicely done!👍🏻 How big is your layout? Thanks for sharing.👌
33ft long by about 13ft wide
Thanks!
Wow thanks Bob! Now I can go out and buy even more trains! Or maybe dinner for Shelby. Or maybe dog toys. Okay, maybe no trains this time LOL
All N All it’s Looking Good.
Do the Atlas turnouts have the same auto-throw when coming into them from the frog direction and the points are set for the other track like the old Lionel ones?
No, they are sprung though. I have mine wired into an MTH AIU as well.
So, did the camera cause the wreck? Or not enough train clearance?
Yeah the camera was hanging off the side and caught one of the parallel parked trains. Then an auto rack caught it and pushed the whole thing off.
Have fun Jason ;-)
Looking fabulous
Straight🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic video Jason!
A remarkable view of your layout. Your doing a fantastic job of promoting the hobby, thanks!
I always enjoy the layout updates!
Keeping having fun with your friends and the trains.
Very Cool....
MASTERFUL!!!
Very Very Cool
9:21 OH NO!
Just a couple of questions. What track are you using on your bridges and how far apart are your feeding power to your track?
Atlas O track and about every 8ft.
@@JDStucks thank you.
The automated signals are awesome. Do they also stop the trains from entering an “occupied” block or is that part still manually controlled by the operator?
All controlled by the operator. That's how some of these accidents happen LOL
@@JDStucks that’s what keeps it interesting! Loved the blooper at the end. Glad there weren’t any casualties.
Fantastic, Jason
Your layouts is absolutely awesome, the mountain looks great. Can't wait to see when this layout is totally finished, it is going to be one damn layout.
Nice Auto Train.
Thanks! One of my favorites
What a fun ride. Really like the signals , grade up mountain, and the reversing loops on top. What a huge project you are tackling. Looking great.
Thanks!
