Lovely film, glad to see someone pushing Rough Animator as far as they can.
I would be lost without this app, I heavily use toonboom, TVPaint, Spine, blender and other software BUT Rough animator is my number one for creating animations.
Important to point out though that Rough Animator is only a piece of software so the beautiful animation and the great story telling within this film is ALL down to the artist.
So very well done to you indeed for a wonderful production.

RoughAnimator is an awesome app/tool! Gorgeous animation! Smooth and challenging stuff. I love the timing, editing, compositions, soundscape, etc. Weird storyline. Scratching my head. Time to get funding for a feature length version ;)
PS: I just got nominated in a local filmfestival (category Commissioned Films) for the one I did with Rough Animator :)

I'm finally taking a serious look at my options for animating on my iPad, I find RoughAnimator and this is the first thing I see. This is fantastic. I loved the sun smiling and then setting, the whole thing was great.

You could copy and paste a circle onto another layer and trace it on your animation layer.

OK what an adorable concept this little animation. And looking at the software images it is very clean programing, right to the point. The way things used to be done. The eye candy is the final animation. I absolutely am so glad I found this program. :) I will be getting 2 licenses: 1 for windows, and I hope ican use it on both my laptop and desktop. And one for my Android. Amazing work. Keep it up. Nice to see a good quality program with all the toy like stuff being pushed on people. :)

Hi guys , I created new project yesterday , I drew my first clean human figure for the walkcycle but I open the app today and there is just blank canvas. Only background is there but not the human. Why? How to save the project so I will be sure it is saved for another day? Please help :) I am using Rough Animator on my Ipad pro

So, do I have to buy After Effects and Procreate now? It has been told rough animator has got all tools that we need for frame by frame animation. There is nothing about background movements. This app needs a camera layer immediately! I am not even talking about guidelines, grid layer, ruler, pencil tool, brush types!.. so sorry but rough animator is a kind of toy for killing time.

Amazing animation. You should also upload to Vimeo if you haven't already done so.they usually appreciate unique artistic work so much more and often handpick it for featured spots.
