I always know Google makes good phones. Can't wait to see the teardown next. Glad that I got a used Pixel 3a. There's a nice charm with using a Google phone for every day usage. Definitely Galaxy Z Flip 4 as next durability test specimen or a Galaxy A13 lol.

I love the design language Google chose for their new flagships and beyond. The camera bar just reminds me of their old Nexus 6p so much and I never had the chance to use one of those
I still have mine but it's a paperweight. I received money from a class action lawsuit. Some has issues with the phone repeatedly rebooting while others like mine the phone would go from x% then just power itself off. If you would turn it back on the battery was dead, you had to charge it first.

Also there's no shame in getting budget phones. we live in a capitalist world...afford what you can without going into debt.

Decided to pick up a pixel 6a for my new work line and I have to say I am very impressed. I used to bounce back-and-forth between android and Apple but I’ve been pretty consistently with Apple for the last seven or eight years. Google has definitely upped their game. Got me considering switching my main device over to a pixel in the future.

The fingerprint on this pixel is extremely unreliable and unsecure. It doesn't really read your fingerprint and just acts like a tap to unlock button. People were able to unlock their 6A even with someone else's finger. This explains why Zack didn't have any problem unlocking it using his rough fingers.
Adding to it this issue has been happening on few other phones as well including nothing phone 1. I guess these companies were trying to make them faster but made them unsecure in the process.

I bought the 6A because it reminds me of my trusty old Nexus 5 the unbreakable plastic back, the smooth running and clean android. Its a tat bigger but the size is good. Fits in my pocket without looking ridiculously. And lets be honest is 6.1 inch isn't that small for a phone. The only thing missing is the headphone jack.
@@jtb2586 I don't remember that part being much of a problem for what I did on it. My main problem with old android tablets was that the touch screen and charging jack always would start to get extremely finicky after just a year or two, and eventually they became completely unusable.

I didn't scratch my pixel 3A at all, within two weeks of getting a 6A the screen is covered in tiny scratches and I have a pretty large scratch aswell, all though you can't see it most of the time with the screen on, I definitely feel like the glass is inferior to older generations of the pixel this time, but overall the build quality felt much better aside from the front glass.

We don't need to see all the box cutters on the sides, I barely noticed the scratched up phone and I never watch these types of videos but the drawing on the phone sold it for me. I prefer the way the 6a back plastic feels more than anything of the other pixels with real glass backing. I picked this up a week ago for $299. It felt so premium yet still light weight that I thought it was glass. I immediately ordered a case on amazon but it was delayed for some reason and I was forced to use it naked. It feels so good and it has the perfect touch of one hand usability. Since it was so cheap I decided to permanently use it naked permanently except for nights I planned to drink. I'm wondering if there's any minimalist case of skin out there that replicates the smoothness of the back plastic? Also, any recommendation for smooth screen protectors? I'm aware there's a feature that increases the touch sensitity when you throw a screen protector on. Does that feature successfully do what it's intended to? I'm actually going to raise the sensitivity now and will get back with how its feels if you turn it on when not using a screen protector. My last question is that if there's not a case or skin that can replicate, does anyone know if anyone who sells back screen protectors? I'd wouldn't to mad if I dropped it and cracked, but at this long I wouldn't like it because this thing has sentimental value lol

It felt so premium yet still light weight that I thought it was glass. I immediately ordered a case on amazon but it was delayed for some reason and I was forced to use it naked. It feels so good and it has the perfect touch of one hand usability. Since it was so cheap I decided to permanently use it naked permanently except for nights I planned to drink.
I'm wondering if there's any minimalist case of skin out there that replicates the smoothness of the back plastic? Also, any recommendation for smooth screen protectors? I'm aware there's a feature that increases the touch sensitity when you throw a screen protector on. Does that feature successfully do what it's intended to?
I'm actually going to raise the sensitivity now and will get back with how its feels if you turn it on when not using a screen protector.
My last question is that if there's not a case or skin that can replicate, does anyone know if anyone who sells back screen protectors?
I'd wouldn't to mad if I dropped it and cracked, but at this long I wouldn't like it because this thing has sentimental value lol

Started to use mine without a case 5 months back and already I have some dents and pain chipping from the black bars...

It still surprises me how Google managed to break their own phones with their own software, which is supposed to work well on their own OS.
All of my phones from Google have worked well. Software on them is like fine wine in my experience.
Update to Android 13, it fixes mostly all issues.

@@Sirikiller there were reports that the update broke wireless charging among other features on some pixel devices.
But trust me, Samsung is much worse in this department. The way they butcher Android.
