- Thick steaks cut from an eye round roast. Pan seared in olive oil, then rested in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. $4/lb, totally tasty and tender. Medium to medium rare.
You can adjust the rest time in the oven to get rare, medium rare, etc., as you wish.
