- Rode my mountain bike from Corona, CA to Newport Beach, CA The Santa Ana River trail is a seamless route through Orange County all the way to the beach. We found a couple detours that were great. The Honda Center, ARTIC and the Anaheim Stadium were literally right along the side of the bike trail where we found a little shade and some AC while we explored.

I did that route couple of times sr,but without motor assistance only legs power from Anaheim to the beach 24 miles round trip!!!

Tried it last year on my turner 5 spot only made it 25 miles did it this weekend on my cannondale six13 and completed it in 1 hour and 45 minutes it was awesome .
Very nice, I did it on a super windy day and it was no fun

That’s such a great question because I asked my self that same thing.
The truth is my wife and I planned it out and one day on the way back from somewhere out off the 15 I simply had my wife drop me off.
Check this out, in two weeks I will be camping out off the 91. “Butterfield Ranch”
The plan is for me to take my bike with me in the RV and then one of the days I’m out there camping I’m actually going to ride it back down towards the beach where I live, throw the bike in the garage, stick it back on the charger and then I’m going to drive my other car back out to the camp sure. Then a couple days later I’ll drive the car back home grab the bike and ride it back to the campsite.

What’s up John, it took me about 2 1/2 hours But I did take a little detour through and around The Pond, Angele Stadium and ARTIC.
It’s only like 28 miles

You would want to get off the 91 freeway at Green River and go past the Jack-in-the-Box and look for parking for the Santa Ana River Bend Trail
