Storyline:
Many years ago all four clans merged into one; Dreamclan. Over the years it has grown overpopulated and chaotic.
Sootsong is raised away from the clan by his father, who was banished for taking in a mountain lion cub (Frost) to raise along side his son. He tells his kits stories of the clans and Sootsong grows up longing to join them.
One day he decides he wants to go find Dreamclan. He bids farewell to his father and adopted brother and heads into the woods.
He finds Dreamclan and befriends two apprentices, Beepaw, and Thunderpaw, who are much too old to still be apprenticed, but the leader refuses to give them their warrior names. Thunderpaw is especially furious about this.
Sootsong comes to see that not every cat gets along in Dreamclan. Day by day he sees petty fights broken out consistently between the same cats, as though the clan is splitting in two. One day he has enough of the fighting and he declares Dreamclan should split up for the sake of every cat.
Many cats like this idea and opt to join Sootsong, but those left behind are furious. And they’re not the only ones. Swiftstar wages war on the new clan, Sootclan.
Sootsong becomes leader of Sootclan and names the apprentices Beestripe and Thunderstripe. He makes Thunderstripe his deputy.
Beestripe and Thunderstripe claim a chunk of territory as their own. They talk for hours in the trees until one day Swiftstar’s warriors come to drive them out.
Sootsong journeys to the moonpool to receive his nine lives, but when he reaches starclan he is outraged to find they do not accept him as the new leader. They are offended that he split their perfect clan and he is punished with being replaced by an unqualified Tom called Spidertuft.
Sootsong refuses to accept Spiderstar as leader. As a result he and Thunderstripe are banished from Sootclan (now renamed Spiderclan.)
They meet up with Sootsong’s adopted brother, Frost, and scheme how to take back Sootclan.
They try to form an army of anyone who supports them, but over time things look bleak. Sootsong decides if he can’t be leader of Spiderclan, he’ll simply destroy it.
He teams up with Swiftstar to destroy Spiderclan. A huge battle sieges. In the end, Spiderstar takes his own life with death berries. The war is won.
Beestripe and Thunderstripe are ecstatic. This means they can rebuild their clan, but Sootsong knows it’s too far gone.
He sets fire to the camp. Watching his clanmates cry out in fear and confusion.
Suddenly, an old face appears. His father. Crowheart is stunned at the scene he finds. His own son, a tyrant.
Sootsong faces his father and demands he take his life.
Crowheart hesitates, but he sees the damage that’s been done. With tears in his eyes he raises his claws and strikes down his son.

Forget Across the Spiderverse, THIS has been the highlight of my year.
Love the visual parallel between Sootsong leaving his dad (0:05), his founding SootClan (1:02) and then burning down their camp ( 3:13 )

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! IM SO GLAD I PUT THIS ON MY NOTIFI!!! the pmv is so visual, and the plot is so well written, but dark too. the characters and designs are absolutely stunning, and the way fight is so well drawn. honestly, this shows so well how one big clan ruled by one leader can become chaos, just like in dawn of the clans. sootstar deserved so much more, all his actions are reasonable. he fought to protect his clan, and starclan never took his side anyways. this seriously feels like a real warriors series in a pmv. awesome work!!

Ahhh. I don't know why yet, but the art style... it's simple, cartoony, but also super detailed.... it's addicting... i can't stop rewatching this. It deserves more likes and views! I love it so much I seriously can't stop watching this. I don't know how else I could describe my love for this PMV...

Ngl this kinda reminded me of the Dsmp arch when Wilbur goes chaotic because of the power going to his head and blows up all of the country he built then asks Phil to kill him. Pfft I’ve always enjoyed the idea and it’s nice to see something new from it. The characters are all designed so beautifully and you really get a feel for the environment. It’s a really nice pmv.

This whole PMV is just incredible. The emotions and movement all feel so real and raw, and the song choice fits the story so well. The sympathy I felt for Sootsong leading up to his tyranny was an incredible feeling, and the ending of his story, though bittersweet, was just as incredible as the beginning. I'm glad you got to finally finish this!

Yt literally recommended this to me, THIS IS ACTUALLY AMAZING! The characters in this PMV were represented so well and the story is also very well-written! After looking at your other works on DreamClan, I realised I could kinda align the characters with DSMP members since the story felt kinda similar xD

I managed to catch the premiere of this video, without knowing anything about it.
The lighting, the poses, the facial expressions, the compositions, the shots, and so much more come together so well. Although it's just a video with artwork, music, and lyrics, you managed to show the story just through that, without requiring anything else. This video is extremely impressive, the characters and story are rather intriguing, and overall, it's visually pleasing.
I look forward to seeing more of your work.

As someone who has been a huge fan of both Warriors and Dream SMP for years, I can't possibly come close to describing how overjoyed I am right now. These two fandoms have been my life. When I clicked on this video, I didn't even realize at first- I was just watching a bunch of Warriors content that UA-cam was recommending- but halfway through, something about this storyline felt so heart-wrenchingly familiar. And then the moment of realization struck. Even many of the characters' names were clever nods to their DSMP counterparts, and yet, it was also so beautifully aligned with the elements of the Warriors universe. Truly a perfect intersection of my two favorite fandoms. This PMV is absolutely stunning, in both art and idea- Thank you so much for making this.

what app do you use for tweening? it seems so cool !
I have the paid version of Videoleap on mobile for all my editing, it wasn’t really equipped for this big of a project and lagged so bad the entire time but it works awesome for smaller scale projects
