    A favourite. The 2017 Music Man Albert Lee HH, unadulterated. Ernie Ball Music Man guitars are in my opinion the greatest USA production guitars available. Easily on par with anything labelled as Custom Shop and often with better attention to detail. The amp is the mighty Magnatone Twilighter Stereo, itself a revelation to experience. Two of the best. Makes me very fortunate. Thanks for watching.
    Today's tools:
    Guitar: 2017 Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee HH. Stock
    Amp: 2020 Magnatone USA Twilighter Stereo.
    Cables: Achillies
    Mic: Samson Airline77 (me)
    Camera: iPhone 11 Pro and Canon D60
    Soundcard: PreSonus Quantum
    Monitors: Blue Sky Media Desk 2.1
    Computer: 2017 Apple iMac Pro, 2.5 GHz 14-Core Intel Xeon W, 64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro Vega 64X 16 GB
    Software: Logic Pro X, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Compressor.
    I am very fortunate to have endorsement arrangements with both Ernie Ball Music Man and Magnatone USA.

    Wow cool. I like all of your vid's about strats and the Artist brand, and these Albert Lee's are amazing. I didn't expect the intro to be so much about the hoax but I appreciate it , thanks.

    Fully agreed! MusicMan Albert Lee Signature models are the best value out there. I have the HH and the SSS, and would not hesitate to buy a third if I catch a good used model! Cheers.

    When they first came out, I thought they were about the ugliest guitars I had ever seen. I guess I'm just starting to get used to them. This one in particular looks stunning! And the sound is amazing.

    Once more your demo points me the direction of an absolute winner. You were spot on when you said the Stingray RS can do anything. I've now added an Albert Lee HH and it could be even better, how can it make such great maple sounds in position 2, without any maple ???? Thanks Brett, although my powder blue version with a tortoiseshell pick guard looks so much better

      @@BrettKingman I was very close to trading my ‘52 hot rod tele for that exact Albert Lee today. I just couldn’t do it. If I had the cash I would have grabbed it.

    I bought one in 2014, got a Neptune Blue limited color. But I still want this trans walnut one. I just have trouble playing much else. The tones are diverse and clear. It just works for everything I throw at it.

    I own this exact guitar and bought it first run in 2017....and I swapped out the stock buckers and replaced them with Railhammer Chisels in both neck and bridge and in chrome to keep the look .....no pickups made today for under $200 for a set sound better than Railhammers !!! that is why they are STOCK in so many Reverend guitars today , and for a few years .....they know musicians like myself were gonna swap out their pups anyways - so why not just make em stock ??!!!!.......I bet you if you throw a set in that Albert Lee and you do sound clip examples- you will agree ....I put Railhammers in almost all my stock guitars purchased under $999 ....because they can't even come close to the performance of the HAMMERS !!!!.....great demo !!! ....I love that color so much !!!....it caught my eye immediately 4 years ago and I was hooked !!!....be safe n strong!!!...

  • @These_go_to_eleven_1959
    @These_go_to_eleven_1959 3 роки тому

    Those humbuckers are the same ones that used to be used in the EVH sig EBMM and now in the AXIS guitars.
    Odd for a country player's sig guitar?

    When talking about the best production guitars available, did you mean the Albert Lee in particular, or EBMM in general?

    • @BrettKingman
      @BrettKingman  3 роки тому +3

      I'd say in general. I have six or so, none of custom builds, and they're all pretty amazing. Attention to detail is everything, I think.

    Wow.. your channel has become a little to "high end" for me... That's ok if your after a different audience.. always nice demo's.. I just don't do IR's even if I had the money for the pedals and guitars, and were within my budget... I would certainly pay top dollar for a guitar or pedal if it's that good but I would like to hear it through a real amp and speaker besides a magnatone most of us cannot afford or be able to relate to... Just saying!

      @David Hovey - In Brett's defence, not that he really needs defending, he has demoed some decent budget gear recently. Example being the Valeton GP-100 and the Nu-X MG-300 which are both budget multi-fx units that do very similar things for a similar price. I found Brett's demos to be the most useful in deciding which one to buy (I went with the Valeton because it's more robust and I know I'll be taking it out for jams and/or open mic sessions when they start up again). I understand your point about real amps vs IRs but I also understand why Brett would choose to use the Axe-FX at home for most of his demos rather than real amps - he does have a family and neighbours to consider.
