The Ringbrothers

- One wouldn't expect a small Wisconsin town in the middle of the state, to make much of a distinction on a map, but Spring Green bucks this trend. First, Frank Lloyd Wright built the local and well-known landmark, Taliesin, and second, Ringbrothers set up shop. Brothers Mike and Jim Ring have been building cars together since 1994 and have been making a name for themselves ever since. These brothers grew up with gasoline in their veins and have been responsible for creating some of the most talked-about custom muscle cars of the past few years. We took a look at where they started, found out what it's like to work together, and took a ride with their '65 Mustang "Producer" and their '64 Fairlane "Afterburner".

Unique look.....the Fairlane is incredible
Fairlane, yes. I first thought it was an early falcon. Then I saw your comment and was like "oh yeah" lol.
Every week I carefully open up youtube, in the hopes one of these new videos has been uploaded. Before I hit play, I make sure there will be no distractions. The few minutes it does play, I am lost in these videos and it inspires me to keep, working on my own projects.
Ring Brothers are the perfect example of American Ingenuity. We should all be proud of their outstanding accomplishments!
After looking soooo much of trashy half-done rebuilds by many workshops tv bombards us, it is genuine pleasure to see your work and passion. Honestly, you are living my dream.
That Mustang has to be one of the most beatiful cars i've ever seen...
these guys are brilliant
these two brother's from the midwest have taken car building to a higher level of EXCELLENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I drive by their shop all the time. Always fun to see what new car is sitting out front waiting to be restored.
I don't think there's a group of people that do better work than these guys. I bet they could make me like the Mustang 2
Yes there's Ringbrothers and Roadster Shop! Both do top notch work!!
Proud to say I have had the privilege to step foot in the Ringbrothers shop in Spring Green, WI.
OMG...I got chills from this video. Those cars you guys built are so aesthetically beautiful, it's like they're art that belongs in a museum.
I'm glad the Ringbrothers are different from all the other people out there who do the same thing as everyone else with these old cars. I like your blending old cars with new tech and style, the result is just amazing. Amazing work the Ringbrothers do.
ReticentIndignation I agree with everything you said except anything that beautiful that is meant to move should NEVER be in a museum unless it stops running.
Their style isn't my personal taste, but I still kinda dig it, and appreciate the work and effort. I can totally understand if all that clicks with someone.
How tf do i drive my honda again after watching this. Damn Ring brothers lol. Interior tho wooo! Fire.
I like their work because its never too outlandish. They seem to try to get just the right balance of vintage and modern styles.
Sweet baby Jesus I love these guy's work. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is top shelf. Would love to have them build a car for me some day!
I was lucky enough to see the '64 Fairlane in person last weekend at the Goodguys Southwest Nationals, I was blown away by it and the details! Absolutely astonishing
That fairlane.....AWESOME!
These two guys are off the charts awesome!!! Some of the finest custom work done anywhere!!! RESPECT!!!
These guys deserve a tv show. Amazing.
I wish this segment was a trailer for an hour long documentary on this shop.
Hands down my favorite custom car builders.
god those 2 cars right there are perfect. Ring Brothers are my new favorite Muscle tuner/body builders.
me too . I love the west coast customs work as well but this is another level of craftmanship mastery .
+1.. Automotive artistry .... Wow! The Ring Brothers and crew... wow!
You guys are Gods to American Muscle. Love your work guys!
That fairline had me drooling
These cars look like they are made out of fine wrist watch parts?
NarfBLAST I couldn't have said it better myself.
Late to this comment, FULLY AGREE! 👍
It's no question.
The design and engineering talent that comes out of this country is amazing!
totally agreed on that one .... there is a bunch of amazing art workers out there .
I love the element of steampunk design in the ring brothers work. their work best reflects Wisconsin’s contribution to the 20th century industrial revolution. Milwaukee was home to long list of machine tool and die companies was well as companies like Harley Davidson and Briggs and Stratton.
Wow. Absolute craftsmenship. Only someone who truthfully loves cars can and would do what these guys do. Amazing.
The Ring Brother's - are The Best - I love you guys!
I had the pleasure of meeting them at Detroit Autorama last weekend. I just walked up to them and said hello. Very nice guys who do great work! 😊
Don't let anyone try and pull you down... the cars are really great AND tastefully designed.
Build a 1969-72 Ford Maverick. I would love to see a Maverick built by you guys. Man I love your cars, you guys are truly awesome!!
Wow...the level of creativity on these two cars are just awesome.
You can go crazy by just locating all the fine details ! These cars are more awesome than modern big company concept cars and they actually work ! Good job RingBrothers !
These guys have really raised the bar for custom automotive design. All the under-hood custom components at 2:28 are simply off the hook! Incredibly unique and absolutely precision crafted! Simply bitchin! They can cut up any car of mine any time!
Mpney are needed to run things but without passion and sparks there is nothing.
Love this.
you men build STUNNING CARS .. WORKS OF ART !!!!!
Met Mike & Jim ring at SEMA. GREAT GUYS INCREDIBLY GREAT CARS!!👍☝️
Chip Foose George Barris and other builders are great but these guys then took it to the next level
Dear Petrolicious, I'm here to watch legendary cars that I couldn't even imagine they exist, in the sape they were when they came out of the factory. So please go back to Italy and do some reviews there, cause those videos were just amazing.
I think these are the only guys who should be allowed to do resto-mods. They fabricated a brand new dashboard that looks better than 99% of the OEM dashboards today. Truly amazing! They payed just the right amount of attention to detail, so much love for what they are doing! Keep it up guys!
Makes me proud to live in Wisconsin, you'all are great! Lovely cars!
I really liked all of the one off details in the cars and wish the video focused more on them. I think my favorite video from Petrolicious had no words in it at all.
Wow. Somehow I hadn't heard of these guys before. Amazing work.
That's freaking awesome. Lots of little details!
I like how Humble they are.
that orange stang is truly a work of art
unbeleivable art work . If i had the $$$ right now ,i would ask them to build me a special 68' Mustang .
Beautiful when family works together and it works
That Ford is AWESOME!
Attention to details is immense
these guys build such stunning cars, the details are just beautiful
Your '64 is geourous! My 1st car was a '62 Fairlane.
Those rides are sick! Tastefully done looking very modern but still has the oem look.
I am amazed at every car the Ring Brothers build. I like RECOIL.
the stuff these guys do is amazing not my style by any means but its still amazing that they are basically redesigning the cars and almost all of their components is insane. from the switches to gauges down to headlights and tail lights their creativity is unmatched when it comes to classic American cars some serious craftsmanship here whether you like it or not you can't deny they are doing some pretty amazing things
They did great. Those guys are awesome. That didn't feel like Petrolicious, but those guys are super great, and so are their cars.
I thoroughly enjoy the work you guys produce. One of the style elements that show up in your designs is a splash of "A CEMETRICAL " it throughs you off and i like that.
Soo much passion. Really beautiful cars.
wow top of the line quality engineering ,you can just see it,even if you just do a quick glance, you already know that what you just glanced at is quality
My gosh everything you do is amazing!
MY GOD IN HEAVEN!!!! Those cars are my dream.
man that interiour looks sick....so clean nothing out of place ...wow
you guys build some absolutely beautiful cars...
they're amazing... simply blown away by their cars
Wow those 2 cars are gems!!!
Fantastic, what stylish talent and imagination - its unbelievable!
I like the aesthetic that Ringbrothers brings to hot rods - to me they don't look too glossy or extreme, in some ways the shapes are refined and elegant.
The rims on both cars presented on the video are extremely beautiful.
They really know how to make a kickass interior.
Love the craftsmanship and creativity...unique styling...man these guys male sweet rides!! And I haven't ready one comment about their pants or personality.
exactly what i was thinking . great job they did ...gosh ! that mustang looks so special .
I've never really liked the style of cars they do but you have to respect the attention to detail in all of them.
I wish my mind was that creative, let alone having the ability to fabricate the end result.
I like most of the cars they built. Their graphics guy is great too. I like the graphics on their cars.
This is epic american craftsmanship at its best!
Can we clone these guys and secretly replicate them in the design studios of the big three?
These guys need a show
That's because in the other videos you're referring to, there are the owners with cars they've built themselves in some way or another. This was about a shop the cars featured were shop-built.
What an amazing desing!!! I like so much your cars.
First I've heard of them....thank you
These guys are Car Gods
Amen.
LMAO
I salute the Ringbrothers.... Great work
a different kind of cars that we've been used to see but, i really liked the video and respect the particular style of these two. that mustang's roll cage was awsome!!!
So sad i just knew about this channel today. Simply perfect, thanks guys. ~Brasil.
Love that Fairlane, LOVE it!
You guys are my new heroes
The red car is awesome!
i could only hope to get my 64 fairlane to look that clean!
To who ever made the typography for this series - Big Fan of your work!
The Ring Brothers build some of the most beautifulest cars. They're like the best plastic surgeons, they can take anold wife from broken down to winning beauty pageants regardless of age. It's perfect, reminds me of that movie "Death becomes her". The Brothers are Bruce Willis lol
Wow. They make some awesome parts and touches. They look really sharp
what a fantastic video of two total geniuses
These guys are amazing! I would buy one of their art pieces in a second!
Good variety in stories. "Continue Tastefully"
This channel is as impressive as the cars and people it features
1:05 OMG that's an amazingly beautiful rim.
Awesome work guys, just awesome.
What what.. wow WOW! My mind is simply blown away.
At first i didnt liked where the video was going but then, wow, very creative people. I dont think i like all the choices they made but i give them a lot of credit for making something really different. Nice video.
I wish I could afford to have them do my 67 Fairlane
