Phone call audio only comes through the front channel, no matter what brand you use. You can either de-pin the harness and swap the colours over (white front left, grey front right, green left rear, purple right rear. Black stripe is negative) or cut and solder to match what you need
Thanks mate, appreciate the advice. Took me ages to work this out, now that I know it makes so much sense! I ended up doing exactly that last weekend, now purely using the new component speakers as the front and only source. Ended up using the upgraded in dash speakers as the UHF speakers, wired into the GME handset, win-win! Thanks for watching
