With the end of the run(and the boss most worthy of ending it), I have looked back on a few of the videos and I still have no real words that can define how amazing the run turned out to be. I thought that you would have hit a wall at a the Cameo and Nebilim and would not have been able to climb it, but...well, yeah. I am pretty awe-struck by this video mostly, since she is the biggest baddie of bosses in the entire game, and was sure to be a real pain.
Nah, these are just stats when you pass around the Tutti to everyone in the party as much as possible when leveling up. These are virtually the highest stats you can get in the game, give or take.
@Gameteen777 If you mean Severing Wind -> Dragon Tempest, I think it would breakdown after awhile with this game's stun scaling. I think the closest thing to an infinite for one person involves spell-canceling, and even then basic attacks fail to combo when the counter hits in the 80's and 90's. I was actually going to juggle her with Light Spear Cannon and Dragon Surge before I remembered to lock mystic artes, but that easily would've been twice as long/difficult.
Mainly the fact of the World Map glitch being gone, the graphics not being as "amazing" compared to the PS2 version, and multiplayer being removed really takes a toll for people who play with others.
The stat boosts come from cooking the last recipe which raises all battle attributes before the fight. As for herbs, I really can't recommend going out of your way for them since there's no other way to get them faster, it's an abyssmal waste of time.
Yeah, I'll get to looking for that last recipe then, I'm sure it'll help a shit ton for this run. Thanks though, do you happen to have any other tips you could provide for doing a solo run of this game? I'm open to all advice you can give.
Yeah, that ocurred to me literally almost after I posted it, but I was still curious so I left i to make sure. Sorry for being bothersome, but thanks for answering!
How did you get such coordination with the team? I struggled greatly, and I was just on Normal. It was annoying having everyone die because they couldn't avoid moves in time.
If you aren't using FSCs to reduce recover time, TP cost, etc. Or changing your strategies, you won't be able to defeat some of the optional bosses too easily. I'd suggest tweaking on sword dancer first.
There's not much to say for Abyss, honestly. For Luke it helps to know how to extend combos with Rending Thrust, but otherwise there's not much else to say if you know how to heal with him and how to get items with Din's shop. The Capacity Core setup can really be whatever you want it to be for most artes. Sorry I don't have much to say, I've played Abyss to death so it's hard to give good advice for it xD.
I know this was a long time ago so it's a moot point, but if Rending Quake was something you were trying to avoid, why did you leave Stalagmite on on Jade? Was it just pointless to try and avoid?
Imao at the pick your poison moment at 7:52. Good battle. Not that I prefer Guy over Luke, but is the reason why you went with Luke here the same reason as why you went with him in the Replicantis battle?
So, how do you start fights with those stats boosts? I've always wanted to know, I plan on starting a Luke solo run on Unknown only (3DS version, it'll be my 4th run), I've been wanting to know how to start fights with those boosts and finding a good amount of Red Lavenders (Leviathan never drops it, and Din's way takes for-freaking-ever).
@ThatPachi Well I'm about a third through Eternia now, just wanted to play it since I haven't touched it in so many years compared to Abyss/Legendia/etc. That's a NIND. Other than that I'm kinda burnt out between here and VerClip. I have a backlog of games I want to catch up on + day to day stuff I needing organization, so any time-consuming thing like a run probably won't pop up for awhile. Random stuff/exhalebitions/TwinDerps/DerpBraves/Twinlulz perhaps. After Van, of course >_>
@Sonic2891 Pretty much. I've always preferred Luke since he just feels more solid to me, and Rending Thrust/Light Spear Cannon are much more reliable than Guy's juggles, imo. Not to mention Luke 1-Ups Guy when it comes to recovery arte-for-arte and even with basic slashes. Granted, Guy was stronger in nearly every aspect at this point and has Center; it probably wouldn't have made too much a difference choosing one over the other.. unless I'm missing something...
You are incredible man. I never had an easy time with her. I was amazed at how the casters' TP never strayed far from 999. Endless magic mayhem! I'm just annoyed enemies can fonic changes without the proper circles. Such cheating. I also find it funny she calls you idiot when she's the one getting hit with everything. XD
HOW. I only -just- beat this thing on Unknown with rapid spamming of gels, life bottles, and rather liberal usage of ALl-Divines and Hourglasses. How the crap did you do this and not die just from being touched by her!?

Mad props. Very well done!

That was one awesome hell of a battle!
I either wanted it on to possibly launch her in the air or more likely just overlooked it since I kept Ground Dasher on.

Oh sweet Jesus.... it has been done!
I love ur tactics!!
So true! I know the pain of playing this game to death, and I love every part of it. Except..the 3DS version compared to the PS2 version..
@Vercsase have you figured out Guys infinite Combo?
Just asking I like Both Luke and Guy when it comes to controls

Can anyone tell me the BGM in this battle? I've been searching, but realized that the Nebilim battles have another BGM :C
