  • Colt M16A1 C H marked Unboxing! These are just getting more collectible!
In 1964, the United States Army and United States Air Force adopted the M16 to replace the M14 battle rifle. The M16 has a vast history; it first served with U.S. troops in Vietnam and saw action with other allied and NATO forces globally. Adversaries used the M16 as well, when captured. The M16A1 was an improved M16, and the M16A2 was an improvement from that. The M4 and M4A1 were carbines that spawned from the M16 and had seen action during close quarters combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, 58 years later, the U.S. has adopted the Sig XM5 and has started phasing out the M4 and M16A2.
For span of around 60 years, the M16 and its variants have had a long history of serving with many nations to include the Canada, Malaysia, Israel, South Korea, South Vietnam, the U.S. and many many more. It's sad to see a historic relic not in it's original form like this and the next step is to get it range ready.
In this video, I unbox a Colt made Surplus M16A1 from What a Country. This includes everything except what is prohibited by the ATF for import into the country. I think the handguards and the buttstock on this one are superb! The Colt M16A1 upper still has most if its original finish. I have been on the lookout for H&R M16A1 stuff on PSA’s website to finish this.

@@krockpotbroccoli65 Mosins were 89$ at one point too. Times change, unfortunately it seems all surplus was always undervalued. I don’t see it slowing down but I hope I’m wrong. I’d love to spend 500$ at a gun show and walk out with 3-4 good rifles like the good ol days.

Hey BC! Love the content (especially the garand content, fixing to get myself an HRA). I have a question:
Where did you buy all of those lovely hats?? There's three of the them in particular that I'd love to get my hands on. Can you point me in the right direction? Cheers
