You can use the sheep predict the weather at Knockhill. If the sheep are at the top of the hill, it's not going to rain. If they are at the bottom, it's going to rain. And if you can't see the sheep, it's already raining.
Another great behind the scenes vid. The conditions were certainly ‘challenging’. Thankfully Franco was basically ok after his off. A good effort all round by the team.
Sorry for your tough weekend up here in bonny Scotland. I know what went wrong for you... low quality sweet treats. I couldn't make it to the track with the lovely homebaking I had for you, so that ones on me. I'll freeze them for next year - unless I eat them first. Looking forward to seeing that pace potential come out in a race soon.
Evening Dave….another tough weekend….FairPlay to Franco and the whole team….stick with it guys and gals, the results will come….and some luck….please…..👍👌🇮🇲🏆
Great job Wavey. You and the Team have been around the paddock for enough years to know that you're heading in the right direction and Franco's confidence is definitely on the up...and that's a great combination........ roll on Snett !
You are all doing amazing. Your first season in BSB and you are still scoring points and mixing it up. Massive learning curve, but you're still plodding on and figuring it out, and not getting too upset when things don't quite work.
It sure isnt tiddlywinks! Great work again everyone, still dont know how you manage to put together such high quality reviews with so much going on, let alone when everythings underwater! Love Francos confidence and how calm and measured he is in his comments, mature beyond his years espesh when chasing solutions to frustrating issues! Good Luck at Snett!!
go Franco, well done, conditions were difficult and he was hurting, so big thumbs up! another thoroughly entertaining vlog Dave, thanks for sharing and good luck for the next round, look forward to watching your next one.
Great vid Dave, Challenging weekend with the weather and I know cos I was there and it was flippin wet....until we were leaving the circuit when blue sky's and sunshine appeared..typical!!
what a great channel i am learning so much through your sharing and your team is so supportive so im a new subscriber and really happy with your content. ALL THE BEST IN THE FUTURE
Superb video Dave Can I ask what your setup is ? Looks to me like a DJI Pocket 3, the quality is brilliant and it seems easy to use How on earth you produce videos of this quality alongside your team duties amazes me Great job 👍
Hi Dave. We spoke in the paddock on sunday. (I'm the Porsche Diag Tech & ex Thundersport rider) Good chat. And as i said, great videos and info. Interesting with the disks bevelling! Messing about in trackdays now and finding i also suffer issue with the rear lifting under braking at this track. So cant get the bike in. And been working on the front to dial it out. But your info on focusing more on the rear helps. Something to look into. Run it deeper. Then pull back chassis geo with ride height. Makes sense.
Such a shame as it was sunny as hell on the Monday ! Jockhill always gets bad press for shitty weather but we’ve only had one wet race weekend so far ! Bloody typical! Great video yet again Dave , was up on the Thursday with my Obsession hoodie on and couldn’t find the garage only to realise you it’s were down the way !!! Onwards and upwards TEAM 🙂🙂🙂🙂
👍💯The boy's tough!!! Back in the day(90's) ,, one year there were 14 race meetings at 2 different tracks ( Scottish 400SS ), ALL 14 meetings were wet!!!🤣🤣
Another informative behind the scenes Dave. Question; Why another engine change? My sister doesn’t know the rules at my house and was flapping her gums. Keep up the great work. 👍
Maybe see you at Snetterton, our local track...my son does track days there, not after your comment wavy at all,but they have sooo mucked up this track with their elf and safety, one of the fastest back straights...not now though....shame.👍🇬🇧
Great video. Not the best of conditions for racing, the inbetween wet/dry on slicks, rather him than me. Did you find out why the engine went bang a couple of races back? Was there a hint? Looking at how long the bike ran with no pressure when on its side. Did someone overlook that before? The rear brake issue, I can only see that it's an alignment problem. Spacer/caliper mount/wheel. You've changed everything else. Thats see what the next race brings. 👍Well done to all.
@@obsession_engineering Guess you shouldn't buy those Chinese pistons again then... lol.. Thanks for the reply 👍 We exchanged a word at Donington on the Sunday "Morning" out the back of the pits.
so much for the 'terrifying Global Boiling!'... say it in high pitch, shaky old man doomsday voice..."GloOoOballlll Boilinglinglingling!!!!" lmfao. end of June here in Canada and it's 10°c, windy and raining. shit weather for riding 😢😅
wet'ter 🤦 ...most moister make corrosion ...today i spot , ktm & HONDA !!! by the controll-head ( duke , cb500 ) not so well like yamaha done ; miles 🤔 more than 5000 i wait till 44teeth plus jhs-racing show some detail shoots about the suzuki endurance race-moped

Suspension settings are a dark art , like chasing the end of a rainbow
Seems like a load of balls, all these variables and settings.
It can be a ball ache, but tiny changes can have a real effect on balance, feel and thus confidence
Great team. Onwards and upwards.
Thank you for keeping us posted… with humour.
That was real gritty stuff by all, and massive respect to Franco for digging in
Awsome video Dave, Franco did a solid job. I’ll be at 😢snetterton and brands hopefully good weather for both rounds hopefully a top 10.
Great coverage - well done everyone.

Good team work as always! Good to see Newt next door with the RSV4 as well.
Tough times but the potential keeps shining through
Love these videos Dave. The luck has to change soon. The pace seems to be there and it's going to all come together soon.
Absolutely brilliant Dave! Well done to everyone involved as this looked like a bloody hectic weekend!
Another masterpiece of behind the scenes. Chers from a danish fan

It's a DJI pocket 2 and I shoot in 2.7k as its plenty good enough for the content I need!
@@obsession_engineering Thanks Dave excellent results

Cheers for this Dave, great look behind the scenes, need to come back in September when it summer

Question;

Slight vibration so best to not risk it. We only have 3 engines, but they all like their chance to play 🤣

It's still pretty fast, and I actually quite like the 300 snet layout, bit more technical than the old version

The Donington engine cracked a piston, very unusual but we had previously had some fuelling issues on that cylinder which might have caused it
@@obsession_engineering Guess you shouldn't buy those Chinese pistons again then... lol.. Thanks for the reply 👍 We exchanged a word at Donington on the Sunday "Morning" out the back of the pits.
Is that paul that loves the camera at the front of the aprilia related to bruce anstey? He dont half look like him ,great vid cheers

Rumour has it, Marty Pellow was at Knockhill when he came up with the name for his band 🤷
