Great video Dave, thanks for sharing & excellent rider/team performance all round...Super relaxed down to earth BSB team, enjoying their racing... Watched every minute, start to finish👍
"He's got the clap!" - i couldn't help but laugh as my sense of humour went the wrong way! Fair play though, top effort, good reward for sponsors etc... Good luck at Oulton!
Great results! Obviously Tom had the confidence in the bike due to the team effort and was able find the best compromise. Get well soon Franco, you might get usurped!
Nice that Frankie and Pete popped in to say hello. Thanks for doing these, it is super interesting and entertaining to see all of this behind the scenes drama. Love it!
Great to see Tom doing a solid job at Cadwell .. you had to be there to appreciate his efforts climbing the field Monday afternoon. Good luck team Rapid at Oulton
Absolutely brilliant Dave! Tom, the legend Franco, Matt, Pete, you & the incredible team did an amazing job! Fantastic results, the experience, the emotions, the pressure, the fun & skill by everyone is just excellent! Thanks for sharing this Dave! Brilliant.
Bloody great ride Tom. Really great performance by all the team in giving Tom the bike he wanted. Would like to know a bit more about the team individuals ( how they first got involved, and where they learnt their skill sets from. Hope Franco is doing well in recovery and thanks for another great video.
Mega video Dave, watched all the racing and cheered Tom along. Intrigued by Finn's visor sponsor, 'muff wash'.....have they got any jobs going...for a friend obviously !
Great video Dave, loads of info which is very interesting. Nice laid back team and a great ride from Tom. Looking forward to the next vid - hope Franco is fit to ride.👏
Great results for the team as you say anyone can score points on the teams bike 😉 but it does show all the hard work you have put in is working well done 🎉
Super ride from Super Sub Tom. I watched with interest from trackside. Lots of eyes on you Tom. Well done to the team, a superb effort. Great motivation for Franco too. He will be "on it" at Oulton to prove he is the most Rapid of your riders. Best to you all for the rest of the season. BTW Dave, great vid.
Cheers for the vlog Dave. Great job by the team & Tom over the weekend. I'm sure it will help spur Franco on for the remaining rounds too. Had a feeling that Tom would be a good stand-in as he is a steady rider, has good experience in different classes & endurance racing. All the best to the team for Oulton 👍🏻
Evening Dave……what a weekend…..👍🤘🇮🇲😉 ps Claire has been hanging around with you,lot far to long, that’s no way for a lady to talk….lol 😉🤣🤣🤣. PPs Rob is such a lovely fella, and so unassuming, especially with the hours he puts in…and he’s funny, unlike that interloper you had in the garage this weekend, Frank something his name was, bit shy when it comes to hard work …..lol 👍😜🇮🇲👌
Great result.. two bike and rider team thoughts ? Tom looks like crusty the clown in pre race one with that hat on ( helmet hair). Thanks big Dave great vlog again
Great team great rider, well done guys ! One question , does Tom get paid for this and does he get a bonus for every point scored. I hope he does as he's a top rider doing what he just did first time out.
Great vlog, really enjoying these. Just wondering, may be a stupid question, but how long do you have to wait when a bike comes in hot before you can do any work on it between races?
I treated myself on a 'new' racebike. went from a cbr600rr PC37 to a PC40. The new bike came with a 190/60 Pirelli Superbike tire. I run Metzeler TD180/60 myself and after fitting the new tire I noticed the height difference is significant! Tire calculator says a 12 mm difference without taking the different shape of the carcass into account. What am I to do in this case? I won't run Pirelli's i simply cant afford them. But they sell 190/55 TD's. Do i raise the rear right height and if so how much? with the shock linkage i assume it's not as straight forward as lengtening the shock 12 mm. Anyway i'm a complete noob at these setup things and if you could point me in the right direction I'd be chuffed. Great video as always
In general the ratio is close to 2:1 so more like 6mm in shock length. But that really changes anti squat so you need to be careful. I'd move in 1-2mm stages and see how it feels
a huge gap , only buy a moped , protection gear , two wheels with tieres and drive some rounds make fun but no sense ...how many minutes are between hobby-racing and pictures like here ? 👏👏👏
@@vincemarshall8550 Definitely a bit harsh but I get his point. In contrast to Franco, every time Tom spoke he came across as communicative, polite, gracious and grateful for the opportunity to ride for a great team - I counted 6 times he said "thank you". Sadly Franco doesn't. He's very young and no one expects him to to play 'diplomat' yet but, hopefully someone close to him will sit him down for a chat otherwise he might be looking over his shoulder a lot more. Either way, Tom did himself and the team proud on and off the bike. I have a feeling Franco will gain a lot from the experience.
Tom Ward, what a lovely chap. Can you get him again for the channel 😊
The boy Borat did great! Was nice! What a great weekend, all but three points finishes. Pressure's on that Franky lad now. 🤣

The best bike blog bar none, Dave the rave is amazing, give these guys a thumb up/like, it is the least they deserve.

I thought Tom did a great job over the weekend. I'd like to see more of him in the superbike class. Get well soon Franco.

Such a great atmosphere in the team. Great results with a newbie in the saddle. Chapeau all the team members
Great stuff again , can’t believe the work that goes on behind the scenes 😮

Love Tom's Rossi impression but hope Franco get's back to health soon!
Great results for the team as you say anyone can score points on the teams bike 😉 but it does show all the hard work you have put in is working well done 🎉
Another great vid i enjoy watching all of them ,i hope the mechanics knees have recovered from all that kneeling by rob 😂
Hollyoaks is a top mechanic. Wardy a classy guy.
Dunc is mega 👍 FairPlay to Tom he rode brilliant 👏👏
Absolutely brilliant videos it’s just a pity all the teams wouldn’t follow suit
Another great video and a hugely impressive performance by Tom. He did himself and the team proud, on and off the bike.
What a fantastic behind the scenes vid. Definitely will be watching more
Great video of Tom and the team performing well. Was good to see Franco on the mend.
Tom was fantastic. All Weekend. Cheers Rich hope he liked the chocolates
It's really interesting to see this point of view ... all the work on refining the bike between outings, the data analysis and so on. Cheers!

Tom "Borat", very nice, I like very much. Give him more rides 👍
Well done Tom👏great work great pod !!!!
Felt really sorry for Franco, must be so hard seeing someone else on your bike and doing well.

Another great video
Bravo Tom, Well done!
I saw Ron Haslam as well all the best as we say in Ulster Keep er Lit.💯
A great weekends work, well done.
Mint team.
Fantastic video again.... great ride from Tom and superb effort from the team can't wait to come and see you at Outon and Donny Go Franco

THANK YOU. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Great.

No, we can't afford to pay our riders. But unlike many teams we don't expect the riders to pay to ride either
Did spot Ron haslam walking by.
Pressure is now on Franco, I'm sure he went home after Caddie with lots to think about...
Great team work, team Rapid'o racing going from strength to strength
Question how do ýou adjust the engine braking, what parameter do you alter
We have throttle maps to give us (via some clever calculations) a Newton force for engine brake
The big question is "Will the next race be ridden by Tom Ward or the Frankie Brown guy?"... 🤔😁
Great vlog, really enjoying these. Just wondering, may be a stupid question, but how long do you have to wait when a bike comes in hot before you can do any work on it between races?
If there's no parc ferme we start working as soon as the bike is under 90 °c
He could be Franco’s brother!

Tom looks like Boris .
Good result, Tom seems like a very nice and likable guy. Just curious: is he not wearing hearing protection?
He was yes, just not obvious in shot
Should be in bsb full time, why not run a second bike next year?
I expect they'd love to but I can only imagine the cost. The crash damage bill this season must be eye watering!
Money and people. At the moment we don't have enough of either to run a second bike
Mighty hai

Probably for the best, Franco seems like bit of a bellend...
Harsh
