A little late as I didn't intend to upload this here on UA-cam. But then I felt like putting the updated version of the cover with the animation on my channel for archiving purposes as the original post on Twitter was getting buried.

I made the animation for Calli's birthday and I was so honored that she asked me if she could use it as her end screen. I was surprised she'd let the piano cover play during her end screens even if she didn't have to. Thanks Calli!

Q: Will you ever make a full version of this?
A: Probably not. I don't think it's gonna be worth translating the rap into melody. The song would be unrecognizable by most people. If this was an experimental/hyper arranged cover then yeah I would do it, but I arranged this to sound familiar rather than make something totally new. If, however, I or someone else decides to make a vocal cover, then I can most certainly use this arrangement. But I have a feeling I'm gonna make a whole track from scratch if I do anyway lol.

This song is so weird to me, sure it resonates with my own experiences, but it has a way of making me nostalgic for a life I've never lived. Calli is an incredible artist for sure, but I absolutely adore this version of her work too.
I'm a little sad to read that you probably won't make a full version, but thank you for what you've given all of us. This is the kind of version that's probably going to be creeping into my head in moments of silence, nostalgia, or melancholy for years to come, and I'll treasure it every time

Oh my gosh this is so freakin COOL!!! Especailly as an end screen, and as well, using what I believe is one of Calli's best songs ever. It's such a great end screen, and I love how this song starts getting louder even though it's such a calm but hard hitting song. Great stuff!
