Harasho...good! You found a SOCOM. That's a Special Operations Command pistol. It's a .45 caliber pistol with plenty of stopping power. It's also equipped with a LAM (Laser Aiming Module) for nighttime combat. If you find a SOCOM suppressor, you can equip that, too. That pistol was designed specifically for use by special forces, so I think it will be useful. Some people find it a little heavy and hard to use, but it shouldn't be a problem for you.
Hey I found 1 of these in the truck in front f the helipad! And the suppressor was in the hanger but I needed card 1 from the DARPA chief to get it, good times
In all it's mediocre boringess this is one of the coolest airsoft guns really. Range, accuracy, gas efficiency, quietness, lightness, reliability, relatively large mags. Only "problems" seem to be slow double action trigger pull and size with the silencer on.
I have a modded Marui LAM on my KSC MK23 (2005 model heavyweight & hardkick). Lamp has been swapped for a high power led and that fake laser/red-plastic-thingy has been swapped for a real laser module. Now it's worth using :)
I just bought this little number and videos dont do justice on how quiet it actually is , very well made sidearm, despite it not being blowback, but dont detour that from purchasing , well worth the money
yes, it will, as long as that the LAM attaches on the proprietary rails or get an adapter but with this type of LAM, it was never produced, in games it exist
I really dig this build, but I personally dont think it reasembles the MGS MK23, while the gun in the game doesn't have the script on the silencer and there's no serialprint while patriots don't use numbered guns. BUT STILL A VERY NICE GUN!

Faisant du tir sportif, j'ai déjà rencontré ces termes, donc je demande : la double action ne serait-elle pas lorsqu'il s'agit d'armer le chien, puis de tirer, ce qui fait bien deux actions. Alors que la simple action ne demanderait que d'appuyer sur la détente: une seule action. Cette question est juste pour remettre l'ordre sur ces termes, et non virer au clash, bien sur =) Sinon, belle vidéo ;)
Is there any one in U.S. who had purchased this from the site he mentioned? I read that the company does actually paint the tip orange and remove the marking, but it would be safer to ask for experience before buying. Please let me know your state as well if it's possible. Thank you very much!

jolie review qui donne envie!! je possède une version cheap de marque ASG du MK23 avec un silencieux que j'ai modifier. Il est déjà terriblement efficace niveaux bruit (tirer à moins de 10 mètres et les adversaire sont même pas capable de te situer ou de d'entendre parfois^^) il a une bonne petite portée et pas mal précis a la 0.28 (hop up sur l'asg pas terrible avec grammage inférieur). je pense que je vais m'acheter le modèle marui plus tard qui doit être largement plus précis et moins fragile quand j'aurais le budget.

@Lawenda Paszkiewicz Well, this is a 7-years old comment, and by now, we have done a number of extensive research on the Mk.23. You were right about one thing, though. The Mk.23 SOCOM pistol is made under the request of the SOCOM unit(their request to the H&K and their competitors is to make a offensive handgun, meant to be used as a primary weapon, in contrast to most other pistols used as sidearms), using the USP pistol as the base design, and enlarge it for that purpose. Ian "Gun Jesus" McCollum, the owner of the Forgotten Weapons channel, did a video about this years ago after this video, but before you came here. And the ammunition it used? We have the .45 Super for it now. Well, unless you know another .45 caliber pistol that use it as well; do let me know by all means. I'm more than happy to do the research on them as well.
How do u deal with U.S laws like the orange tip since there is no orange tip? I know you are French and I don't know the laws there but some suggestions would be great like tape or markers.
in the US it is a law that u have to have an orange tip to indicate that it isnt a real gun. I think you could get arested for it. my guess is it get orange tape or spray paint the barrel or something and thanks for the reply
In US, there is more people with guns in the street than France. So, we don't need to have a orange tip on our airsoft guns. We are Just not allowed to walk with our airsoft guns without box or something else on it.

The fact that it says it takes 134a gas or red gas as someone told what that is worries me because one, he said it is really expansive and I've heard people saying don't use red gas because it will damage/ ruin your gun. Second, I can't seem to find it anywhere. And what will happen if I use propane or co2 or green gas for it instead? I know you aren't supposed to but I'm curious.

Hey Khan, great vid, covering every aspect of the gun. I have a question tho. My Mk 23 made by ASG has obviously got some problem with the hop-up system, because even when shooting 0.25gs, the bb curves up very unnaturally. Any idea if / where I can regulate it?
well if you're chep (like me XD) you can buy a working king arms mk23 silencer for 40 euros and an asg mk23. (ofcourse a bit lower performance but for almost a hundred dollars less for a silent nbb)

I did a video on one and when I shoot it, it sounds pretty quiet like the mouse fart it is. I have no idea why all these videos make it sound so loud.

It can be put on something else, but keep in mind it's a 16mm clockwise silencer. Not really the most common thing.
