Hi Denny, Thanks for taking the time to do this vid. I will order one of these after seeing the vid. i had to grind the ridges away on the plastic rail. no way was going to do that on the metal one. keep up the good work, content is great, well done. PS..... regards the rail being given to owners, even a discount with proven purchase would of been fair.
The RFDs make a huge mark up ,I know 2 RFDs one is a SEC1 the other is a SEC 5 RFD I used to get m8s rates on guns and ammo ,its shocking what they make
Hey, great video and awesome comparison! I don’t mean to nitpick, but as a firearms instructor, I’ve got to admit I cringe a little at the use of the term POI. It seems like you're using it to describe the misalignment between Point of Impact (POI) and Point of Aim (POA). Just a heads up-POI only refers to where the shot hits, whether or not it’s aligned with the POA. If there’s a misalignment, it's more accurate to say the POI is "off-zero" or "deviates" from the POA, rather than using POI to describe the misalignment itself. Just something to keep in mind to avoid any confusion! Keep up the great work!
Hi Deny, i agree £115 is way to much for the hand rail maybe agt will address this with the mk2, i have to say i haven't noticed any poa issues so far luckily.
It’s entirely up to you and how you shoot if your not resting the gun on anything then maybe but it’s not advised to rest the gun in the block when shooting mate yous be seesawing the rifle.
Hi where did you get you purchase the alloy hand rail would be greatful if you can let me know where you got it from mine is the 1.77 short barrel many thanks colin Lofthouse
Id say you definitely need to spend over 100 to get the noise down. I dont think you need the ally hand rail, i definitely eradicated the poi without it with a long piccatiny rail a couple of screws and spacers which maybe came to around 20 quid and a couple of hours of my time figuring it out. But i agree shouldnt have this issue. Hope the vixen 2 has a bigger bottle
It’s a shame AGT made such a cock up with the design, it’s hard to believe nobody spotted this in the design team! I’d be inclined to send it back, because it’s not fit for purpose is it,really..
I got mine delivered a few weeks ago and it's got the alloy rail fitted. I fully expected to have to replace it, but when I hit it with my nail I realised it was metal!

Cheers for the shout out mate. You could also use very thin copper washers let me know if you want a couple I’ll send you some 👍
Thanks John I’ll keep you posted mate.
This is exactly what I need. Great video.
If you have a Vixen mate you should have one of these! Should come standard though!

£115 for a very small piece of alloy that weighs a few hundred grams! Someone is making a fortune.

Do you have to have the handrail fiitted if its not supporting the shroud?, or.can it be left off

I agree mate try telling AGT that! Thanks for watching.
The alloy hand rail should come as standard with a gun of that quality, shameful from AGT in my opinion.
I agree I’m sure AGT are aware of this.

@@YarekBalear Was that from new as standard or did you buy it second hand from someone who had already replaced it with a metal one?
@ New. Bought it from Bamford Guns.
@@YarekBalear That is good to know that they have rectified a major issue.
