Interesting selections, guys. I always learn something on the Pub Jukebox. That original “He’s Going To Step On You Again” was kind of mind blowing as I know the Happy Mondays version so well. I had that “Wise Guy” record in high school, I don’t recalll how I found it in small town USA. A dance party record from start to finish, all done with good humor which is pretty unique. Thanks John and Hedley!
saw KC+tC's in a small club in Ann Arbor Michigan about '84-'85, the full review, absolute 95 mins of magic so very cool. long way from Wolverhampton. Another fine episode gentlemen.
It’s probably British brewed San Miguel that’s why it tastes nasty 😂 it’s great seeing you guys back in the pub something good to watch after spending all day trying to get Oasis tickets on my last day on holiday in Spain and not getting any tickets because ticket master thinks I’m a Bot over here
I mean. "Yeh Yeh" starts this magic? That's production, friends.🤫 Yeah. So Hedley. "Alive And Kicking" is incredible. Let's not get in a heavy battle. After 89 I swear I've heard nothing. Good session, Gentlemen. 😎
Seeing two of my favourite people in my favourite place (the VC pub) has put me in such a good mood I can even forgive a bit of Simple Minds. Lovely to hear the original of ‘He’s Gonna Step On You Again’ great choice Hedley! 😊
Bonjour, Kid Créole were big in France too. The « solo » album of the coconuts is fantastic ! Check the tune « did you have to love me like you did? » with a great trombone solo at the end. Great vidéo as always
Yeh Yeh is a great choice. I have a couple of Georgie Fame CD box sets and listening to 1966's Sitting in the Park next to 2015's My Ship, there is no drop-off in vocal quality.
In the United States, Kamala Harris has been associated with coconuts in reference to her Jamaican heritage. So when John picked that Kud Creole song, this was obviously his way of endorsing the Harris-Walz ticket. Hey, it's less crazy than a Qanon theory.

Yes Mongo Santamaria is brilliant. Long career . He makes Cubans proud.🎉🎉🎉Thank you for sharing 😍
With or without guests, this has to be the best series in the VC. Great picks and two great fellows talking about music!
Thanks Stephan! You’re very kind 👍
Love these videos. Many thanks to you John and Hedley. All the best, Floss.
Thanks Flossy!

I never talked about actually getting coffee in a pub, at least not since 1980 I just couldn't keep up with you all!!
You should’ve had an Irish coffee, Mazzy 😀

That’s interesting, Dale. I haven’t heard his more recent stuff. I’ll give that a listen.

Makes perfect sense to me, Joe 😀
19:53 jim Kerr is a huge Celtic fan. No doubt he’ll be down at Villa park when the hoops will pump the Villa. You nab tickets for us yet? ☘️
Jim’ll be crying in to his beer if he does make it to Villa Park, Ben. UTV!
Clive Powell aka 'Georgie Fame' fronted The Blue Flames who had a 3 year residency at The Flamingo Club in Wardour Street - mod classics
My mate Kenny was the trumpet player with KC & TC. Little interesting fact.
Nice. 👌
Tiffany moved to Cov!? I haven't seen her in Wetherspoons yet.
You will, Nigel. You will. 😀
