There are two types of buses. Vinbus is free, the other one is not.

Hi, you mention it takes 2 hours from Novotel to Grand World, even though Google Map show the distance is only 24km. Was it because the bus stopped in many stations?

Hi. Yes the bus stops to pick up passengers, and the road conditions before reaching Grandworld is not very good. The bus cannot really go too fast.

How to paid the bus fees? Cash or using app?

For Peaktime bus, payment is by cash directly to the bus driver. For Vinbus, it's FOC, so no payment is required.
