Omg moving the park stand is the worst 😅 I’ve pinched my hands in it trying to move it more than once and my height adjusting Allen bolts are stripped so I can’t move it. The bike hand looks nicely designed. Thanks for the awesome comparison!

I owned that Park Tool stand and now own the Bike Hand, and prefer the Bike Hand (no pun intended) hands down. However, I have to point this out; If I were a pro wrench, I would undeniably choose a Park Tool stand (more likely, the next model up, their PCS-10). Any Park Tool stand is great, but for a home shop doing mostly light maintenance & tuning & cleaning, I'll take the Bike Hand all day long. It offers great value for the money.
One just has to remember that these aren't pro stands for mounting and removing bikes quickly out of them especially with the plastic adjustments. In any home hobbyist set-up, they should last forever, but for someone who might do maybe more aggressive riding (either road or MTB), they'd benefit from the heavier duty construction of any Park Tool product.
Having said all of that, my PCS-9 stand was a bear to deal with while the Bike Hand is a joy to work with. I love mine. Once you get the hang of it, it's so easy to mount your bike and to remove it, moving it around the shop floor is a breeze and it feels very substantial. It doesn't feel flimsy. Nice build. And its very stable as well.
The problem with Park Tool stands is that they're so well built that you really can't justify buying another one. They're gonna last forever. For anyone with the PCS-9, I believe you can upgrade the clamp to a PCS-10 and in my humble opinion, it's well worth it. It will change your life.
    My 2 cents.
    BTW, GREAT review!

Thanks for commenting. I like the stability of the Park Tool for me, and my hub like the bike Hand. So we each get a stand! 100% agree. Park Tool makes solid products, This is an older stand, maybe that's why it was a raffle item. 😅

Sorry .. the only reason to like the park tool stand is the name. I love their tools but I have had both stands and kept the hand. The “plastic” is a composite that is super sturdy. The adjustment and build quality is far superior for less money. Buy a name or buy a stand IMO

The Park tool stand I found was very cumbersome not to mention the disgusting asking price. The reviews for it are not too favourable either. I went for the HomCom stand at $42.25. Had it for 2 years now and still going strong with an average of weekly usage.

Prices are very similar now the bike hand is not as budget priced as it once was pre pandemic and with the upgraded knobs on the park 9.3. now that they are closer in price and the stand is fully adjustable its Park for the win. 50 dollars more at this time.

Good chat about the bike stands. I have the same Park Tool stand. Had it for years, real reliable and sturdy but I keep it up in the garage because its not practical to keep folding it down. That Bike Hand stand looks convenient for travelling and folding away. I may consider that for moving about. I would say that Park Tools engineering quality is hands down better in this scenario, less plastic components. Thanks for sharing!

Good! :) I was actually looking to see how BikeHand tools are rated, as I am considering buying their Chain Tool and Chain Wrench over the Park tools. They are about 1/2 the price, but being Taiwan made, are of far better quality than the Chinese one. I have the Park mini-tool, but the full sized BikeHand is rated quite well.
I have the PCS 10.2 Stand - It's the best. I have had it 2 years and was accidentally sent/paid for two - Friend saw how good it was and immediately bought it from me. Thanks for the review, I appreciate it. Considering how much mountain bikes go for, I have no second thoughts about just going straight for the Park Tool PCS 10-2 stand for currently $230 on Amazon. In comparison to the price of bikes, getting & paying the price for the highest quality stand I can find within reason, is just the obvious choice for myself. I'm not comfortable with the plastic parts on the Bike Hand stand. I only began riding again in the last 7 years, and I purchased the Bike Hand "complete"(or at least the one with the most tools that they sell), and I deeply regret not just buying the highest quality tools I could afford, as I need them in place of that decision.
