Thanks Joshua! I believe there's a True Jesus Church in the Dallas area. I had considered visiting the church a while back when I was having to spend a lot of time in Dallas. Thanks for giving all the teachings to us in a concise manner.
what's most impt about the basic beliefs and teachings of a church is to know whether there is biblical basis for it. I hope you're not just merely listening to this video without referring to the Bible to understand why tjc preaches what they preach. Teachings of Jesus can be hard to understand sometimes, as in Jn 6, where a great followers of Jesus stopped following Him when He said "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them". They said "it is a hard saying, who can understand it?" (Jn 6:60). Jesus says that those who hear and don't understand is like the seed that fell by the wayside and the evil ones come and take them away (Mt 13:19). I urge you to visit the True Jesus church in the Dallas area, and have a bible study with them to find out if their teachings are biblical, just like the Bereans, who "received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true" (Acts 17:11).
In his "yikes!, I'm going to die soon" journal, my grandfather said that the Church of Christ, his lifelong church, was initially called "The One True Church." He was born in the late 19th century and this was family lore - seemingly something that HIS grandfather told him.
Interesting! In Indonesia, I knew some of True Jesus Church churches, with their Indonesian name "Gereja Yesus Sejati". They also have plenty of schools named Kanaan Christian School. I hope you can talk about some synods in my country Indonesia. There are 300+ synods registered at Indonesia's Ministry of Religion (maybe only one in the world), and some unregistered also.
Which makes one wonder how the Chinese services are handled. Literary translations of the Bible do exist, and they do follow the style of the Chinese classics, but they are certainly nowhere near KJV by virtue of Chinese being a completely different language to English
I mean they state clearly that ENGLISH LANGUAGE services use the NKJV of the bible, not services as a whole, so i think you might have misheard the video or misread their website.

@@mercster In the video they themselves say they reject Trinitarianism. Traditionally, the Trinity as defined in the Athanasian Creed is affirmed in most churches.
@@deutschamerikaner "And the Catholic faith is this: that we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the Persons, nor dividing the Essence. For there is one Person of the Father; another of the Son; and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one; the Glory equal, the Majesty coeternal. Such as the Father is; such is the Son; and such is the Holy Ghost. The Father uncreated; the Son uncreated; and the Holy Ghost uncreated. The Father unlimited; the Son unlimited; and the Holy Ghost unlimited. The Father eternal; the Son eternal; and the Holy Ghost eternal. And yet they are not three eternals; but one eternal. As also there are not three uncreated; nor three infinites, but one uncreated; and one infinite." So basically, saying all these things that are contradictory to human understanding, in other words: the trinity cannot be understood. It's saying a lot more than the Bible states, and also condemns anyone who doesn't agree with it (the creed itself.) I dunno where you're from, but there are plenty of good churches that don't agree to creeds from 1500+ years ago. Creeds were instrumental in keeping doctrine uniform in days when communication was slow and no one could read. They have no weight now, unless a denomination decides to adopt them; that's fine, they're free to do so, but to my understanding, there is one Judge, and it ain't a denomination or a document from 1500+ years ago that basically ends up saying "We don't get it but here it is anyway, and you better agree to it." I'm truly saddened if anyone believes that a particular view of the trinity, of which there are seemingly countless, is necessary for salvation. I believe any pastor has the God-given freedom to teach what they like, but also have more charity for people who have a slightly out-of-whack (from my perspective) view of something that no one understands anyway. I'd prefer less is said about the trinity than more, frankly... besides stating the basic triune nature of The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, concocting more formulas about it only serves to create division where harmony would otherwise exist.
@@deutschamerikaner Addendum: to the point of the video, I don't know if you're aware of Christianity's fragile status in China. If you're interested, you can look up Wikipedia's article for the Three-Self Patriotic Movement, which is the only sanctioned Protestant body in China. They are under immense pressure and do not enjoy the same freedoms we do in the West. Christians in China have been killed or worse... I don't agree with everything this church believes, but I am not so quick to condemn them.

The Lord has baptised me in His Spirit, and I have never known the need to go to church to know His presence and conviction in my heart. I am in no way against church, indeed encourage it for all those who seek Christ, however the church itself can never be a mediation in one's relationship with God. The Spirit alone is the mediator, and moreover true salvation comes through this one to one living relationship, through his ministration of the cross, and power of the resurrection.
The church is not a mediator, but God addresses us through his written and spoken word, which is why meeting together and studying scripture is important (see Hebrews 10:25).

@@danieldausman3741 It is profitable to meet together and study Scripture, and I fully encourage it. So to Muslims and Jews, but the message of Romans is such, in terms of salvation such is not profitable (E. G. Romans 8: 12-14). Salvation can only come through the ministration of the Spirit. Strictly speaking, they're NKJV-preferred. Some of their materials in the past have used the RSV, KJV, and NASB. They used to be open to the NIV as well, but that has since changed (probably motivated by the 2011 revision, as that's when they put it on the "avoid" list). The key to understanding what happened in Acts ch.2 when the believers spoke in " tongues" is embodied in the biblically based Law of Repetition. According to this law the Word will repeat something said and/ or an event three times in order to direct our attention to an important spiritual truth. After the believers began speaking in " tongues" three times the men in the crowd questioned how they were hearing what the believers were saying in their individual native languages ? The spiritual truth is that those in the crowd were Hearing what the believers were saying in their languages, but the believers were speaking In one language.

One thing that most Christians neglect when joining or establishing a church is the name of the church. Our Lord Jesus is the one who built His church (Matthew 16:18). He is the head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23), and He is the savior of the church (Ephesians 5:23). Therefore, it is only right and just that the church go by the name of its owner. The church must bear the Lord's name, and His eyes and heart will be there perpetually (1 Kings 9:3). And also, the Father has a proper name, not Jehovah, Adonai, or Elohim. Yes, you read it right. The name of the Father, He gave it to His son (John 17:11-12).
I know quite a few people attending TJC. They are all very good Christians. @@MrKter2u I am not referring the importance of baptism, holy communion, etc. But TJC put a lot of emphasis on details like you need to be baptized in living water like a creek or lake and not a bath tub inside a church, etc. I think these details are not essential to salvation, but TJC will tell you that all baptisms performed in other churches are all useless.
@pewdiepiipewwie2904 Baptism is all about witnessing God in front of people and in front of angels and devils. It symbolizes the death of the "old self" and the start of the "new life". When we follow the Bible the teachings of Jesus Christ, we follow the true meaning and not the rituals and traditions. Things like must baptize in a "living" water, fall forward or fall backward, total submerge vs. sprinkles of water on your head, or even seeing Jesus' blood during baptism, etc., if you elevate these things into salvation level and claim that if you don't follow exactly then you are not saved, then you become modern day Pharisees.

"...baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28: 19-20) The 'trinity' is what the scriptures reveal about God. How it is so is a divine mystery that our finite minds cannot comprehend. Attempting to minutely define this tri-unity in human words is speculation, which has created divisions in the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit often describes to us what is, without trying to explain how it is. "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known..." (1 Corinthians 13:12)
I agree with you... churches that demand everyone have their exact formula of the trinity is foolish. It can't be understood by humans, so why people try so hard to formulate some "perfect conception" of it is beyond me. It's not a salvation issue anyway... noone's gonna show up at the pearly gates and be told "Nope, sorry, you didn't understand the Trinity... away with you!" (Using pearly gates here as an easy metaphor, but you know what I mean.)
Does the scripture really reveal God through 'trinity'? Where in the bible do you see the term 'trinity'? The verse you mentioned in Matthew 28:19 says the NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; this doesn't mean that Father is a name, nor is Son, nor is Holy Spirit. Rather, these are the manifestations of God. You can see in the book of Acts, the apostles didn't baptise in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, rather they baptised in Jesus' name (Acts 2:38; 10:48; 19:3-5). Furthermore in Acts 4:12 it clearly states that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved", this name referred to here can be found earlier in the passage in verse 10 which is "the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth". In the book of Revelation we read that a multitude of people, a number to great to be counted, resides in heaven... That means: It CANNOT BE that just ONE single denomination of the Church can be the ONLY true Church of Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not possible!!!! WHY? Because we have an almighty Father, who can make possible and impossible what HE wants. If he wants to make it possible that, even if only 2 people are gathered in his name, there He is also, then WHO ARE WE to say that: in only this or only that denomination salvation can be had!!! IT IS NOT POSSIBLE!!! Anyone who teaches that: "We are the only church where salvation can be had", is teaching a fallacy!!! Note, the Devil can also do, and does, signs, miracles and wonders!!! - So this is not necessarily a defining trade of a true church... But who so ever believes in his heart and confesses with his tongue (who Jesus truly is)... - Now THAT is something (simple things) To many denominations make things over complicated and all they do is, lead people astray!!!! The apostle Paul has made it very clear that if there is no-one around to interpret what someone says when he is speaking in tongues; then there is NO value in that and that the people are wasting their time!!! might as well not bother!
Jesus Christ and the church are connected, and both are necessary for salvation. Christ established His church and gave her authority over hades i.e spiritual death and condemnation (Mt 16:18-19). Paul writes that there is only one body, the church, and Jesus is the Saviour of the body (Eph 1:22-23, 5:23). The difference between denominations are with the differences in faith. All believe in the general idea of Jesus Christ being the Saviour. However, when you look deeper into their beliefs, each have differing belief systems. This is contrary to what Paul and the other apostles preached. Paul claimed that there is only “one faith” along with “one body” (Eph 4:4-5). He also marvelled at the Galatian members for turning to a different gospel, and that those who preach differing teachings are accursed (Gal 1:6-9). Anything that is not “what we have preached” is not the gospel (Gal 1:8-9). The church is built on the teachings of Jesus, the apostles (New Testament), and the prophets (Old Testament) (Eph 2:20). The foundation, which there is only one because there is only one church, is the one faith of the Apostolic church. Simply put, anything added or taken away from what they taught is not the truth or gospel, and the church which teaches such things cannot claim to be the one true church to bring salvation. The Holy Spirit teaches the truth, yet all these different denominations teaches different things and often have conflict. God is not an author of confusion but of peace (1 Cor 14:33). Let me pose a question, why then would God create so much disorder in this said “true church of Christ [that] exists throughout ALL Denominations and NON-Denominations”? Surely this God would unify this one true church through the same truth and gospel? And yet, there is still so much disunity. For example, some believe in trinity, some do not. Some believe in Sabbath keeping, some believe in Sunday keeping of the Lord’s day. Some believe in the efficacy of water baptism, some view it as purely symbolic. These differences are a big deal. The first example, who is the God that we are worshipping? The second example, which of the days did God established as a day of rest and made it a commandment to be kept? The third example, if water baptism is purely symbolic, does that mean that all the members who got baptised in the Bible did it only for a symbol and not for any spiritual purpose (Acts 2:38)? For your last point about speaking in tongues, in that same passage you’re referring to, Paul says that the church should NOT forbid speaking in tongues (1 Cor 14:39). When you read it carefully in tandem with the book of Acts, you understand that there are two forms of speaking in tongues. One is for self-edification and does not require interpretation, whereas the other is for edification for the church and is often paired with the gift of interpretation. The first type is an evidence for ALL who receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4, 10:47, 11:15, 19:6). For something as important as receiving the Holy Spirit, God has given a physical evidence of speaking in tongues as a sign, not just emotions of joy or having better conduct, which are not defining and can be done by even the most evil people.
A neglected but impt doctrine linked to salvation. If it isnt, there wouldn't be a drastic change in Peter's response "You shall never wash my feet!" ->"Lord, not my feet only, but also my hand and my head!" Unfortunately this sacrament is not regarded as impt bcos its only recorded in Jn 13. I urge everyone to read 13:7 seven times "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me" May the words of Jesus sink into everyone's hearts.
I am waiting to get to heaven and hear: "I'm so sorry. The correct answer was 'full immersion and dipping in from the left side first.' If you could just queue up over there, by that lake of fire, we'll be with you shortly."

How can they claim to value the word of God over the word of man if this church organization is infallible and the only way to Christ? Sounds like Catholic heresy
Wait, so this is an English-speaking Chinese church? It's actually pretty tame for a Far Eastern evangelical church. Only rejection of trinitarianism and moving worship to Saturday take them out of the general envelope of the evangelical movement. No little brothers of Jesus or neo-Marcionism present here. Also no signs of ancestor worship or pseudo-Mormon ancestral deification at least in the official statements.
In English speaking countries such as US, UK, Singapore, sermons are delivered in English and Chinese. True Jesus Church is established in over 60 countries, so in places where English is not a native language (e.g., Korea) sermon are in their native language /dialect. FYI: Sabbath has always been Saturday which is why Jews are observing Sabbath on Saturday. Most Christians observe on Sunday because Catholics declared that they will change the Sabbath worship to Sunday instead. But God blessed the seventh day, whivh is Saturday, and the Lord Jesus observed the same Sabbath as the Jews - He is the Lord of Sabbath at the creation and after His resurrection. keeping Sabbath holy is the 4th commandment, but many Christians keep 9 commandments. If you'd like to knw the truth, go to True Jesus Church for a bible study. See, hear and experience for yourself firsthand at TJC
The early Church herself, taught us how to identify the true Church from the heretical ones: "It is incumbent to obey the presbyters who are in the Church-those who, as I have shown, possess the succession from the apostles; those who, together with the succession of the episcopate, have received the infallible charism of truth, according to the good pleasure of the Father. But [it is also incumbent] to hold in suspicion others who depart from the primitive succession, and assemble themselves together in any place whatsoever, either as heretics of perverse minds, or as schismatics puffed up and self-pleasing, or again as hypocrites, acting thus for the sake of lucre and vainglory. For all these have fallen from the truth". - Ireneaus of Lyons, Against Heresies, 4:26:2, 180 AD
Little known fact, Carly Simon wrote a song about them. 1 Cor 12:10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, __to another the interpretation of tongues.__ It's funny that no one ever has the gift of interpretation of tongues in churches that claim speaking in tongues is a gift. This denomination goes so far as to say Paul is wrong.
Such as Renewal of the apostolic church, bible had said that the church that've establish by Jesus Christ will fall (Luke 13:19) the wild bird that nested at the branh = the teaching tht had corrupt the church teaching, the church lose the holy spirit, this word fullfilled in ±300AD,the "church" had change many bible teaching but bible said in Joel 2:28 that he'll pour his spirit on later day (1900) to correct the teaching. I think this is the church tht hve been mentioned in Amos 9:11!
Luke 13:19 says nothing about the Church falling, it reads: “It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the sky nested in its branches.” (Luke 13:19) There is zero correlation between this verse and any attribute of the Church. Nothing in Scripture makes the claim that the Church would fall away, it’s explicitly the opposite, as Christ said: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” (Matthew 5:14-15) and again, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” (Matthew 16:18) And in regards to the value God has in His Church and His desire to protect it, Paul tells us: “Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.” (Acts 20:28) and the author of Hebrews has spoken elsewhere, saying: “Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20-21) It’s clear that the blood shed for the new, eternal covenant, the blood of God, is the same blood used to purchase the Church; the implication that this eternal covenant is with, and for, the Church. Christ has spoken before that He would empower those in His Church and His Covenant, saying: “teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) and again, He has sent the Spirit to guide the Church, saying: “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you.” (John 16:13-14) and we know this promise to be fulfilled, as Paul spoke to Timothy: “but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one should act in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.” (1 Timothy 3:15) To say that this Church-established by Christ with His blood, promised to be everlasting, guided by the Spirit, and the pillar of the truth-was, in fact, not eternal, is the greatest of blasphemies. You denigrate Christ, His ministry, His sacrifice, His blood and His covenant by claiming the Church has fallen away. Should you claim that someone in the 1900’s somehow was more-capable of establishing a Church than Christ, you blaspheme Christ by saying He failed to do what a mere man could. Furthermore, Joel 2:28 was not fulfilled in the 1900’s; it was, quite explicitly, fulfilled at Pentecost, as Peter said: “but this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, And your young men will see visions, And your old men will have dreams;” (Acts 2:16-17) Very explicitly, Peter is applying the prophecy of Joel 2:28 to the moment of Pentecost. Finally, Amos 9:11 is not referring to a future Church that will be rebuilt, he’s prophesying to the destruction and rebuilding of Israel in the post-exilic period (scholars agree Amos was written in the 8th Century BC, prior to the Babylonian Exile.) Amos 9:7-15 is the final condemnation of Israel, prophesying of the Babylonians’ conquest over and the destruction of Israel, with the promise of a future rebuilding of Israel following the liberation under Cyrus the Great.
Definitely odd, but considering the difficulty of Christian churches in China, I wouldn't be so quick to condemn them. They were operating in a very hostile environment.
I pray that God fulfills his promise, to take away the lampstands, which only act to lure and destroy faith, love and hope, turning every convert away from the truth and casting out the truth, when they should be casting out harmful lies. It's because of this that people are dying, sick, poor and hate God. Characteristics of a Godly Church are, independently wealthy (without debt or dependence on tithes), supernatural healing, uplifting to the spirit (not judgemental of any or condemning), doors are open 24/7 and meet with all new members, answering every question (because they have all knowledge given to them by Jesus), no pulpits or pews or single pastor, and leads the groups/sheep in doing good works instead of just telling them they need to do it.
I don’t think the TJC is fundamentally opposed to Calvinist Protestantism. However, in countries like Taiwan and Korea, where Presbyterian churches are quite prominent, many early TJC members came from those congregations. This background has led to some tension between the TJC and Presbyterian churches, as differing beliefs and practices create friction in their interactions.
Well, those are some string convictions... I see where in the Bible they get all that stuff. Not that I agree with HOW they’re reading... Do they share all things in common?
Although we don't claim to be Christian, simply because we still follow the teachings of Moses, of which Yeshua (Jesus) taught from when He was on earth, as well as the Disciples, the Apostles, and Paul, we don't claim to be 'Christian' because we don't observe the secular holidays such as valentine's day, easter, May day, halloween, or christmas, as all came from paganism, as well as we keep the Sabbath. We are Messianic believers and we of Yahweh and Yeshua, (The Father and The Son, both of which are God, along with The Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), Who also is God. We don't believe in the 'Trinity', as this is a Catholic doctrine, which says God is three persons, separate but equal. The Shema in Deuteronomy 6:4 states, 'Shema Israel, Adonai is our Elohim, Adonai Echad', translated: 'Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One', which is a 'Unified One' (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). God never does say He is separate but rather He is One. Messianic believers observe the Torah, the first five Books of the Bible, which are God's Instructions in Righteousness. The Law in which Yeshua (Jesus) God, gave to Moses on Mount Sinai, we still follow as best that we can, as now there isn't a temple in Jerusalem. And besides, if His. Law isn't kept, it means we are Lawless, as scripture has much to say about this. We can't keep all of the Law, as some are for men, some are for women, some are for the priests, and some are for only the high priest. We only observe the Written Law, but not the oral law of which the religious Jews observed and still observe today, as there are 1,583 of them, if I'm not mistaken, instead of the 613 of which is the Written Law. We also eat Kosher, just as the early church did when Yeshua walked the earth. We are made up of Jews and non-Jews, but we all from the seed of Abraham, meaning we all are part of the Commonwealth of Israel, and we are all Hebrews. We observe the 7 major Biblical Feasts of the Lord, and some of us observe the minor Feasts as well. On UA-cam, Search for: Lion and Lamb Ministries based in Norman Oklahoma, with Monte Judah, as he has been teaching the Torah now for 40 years.
The Church is Jesus Christ - at One with His Bride, He is always true (even when we are not). So the Church is not a 'what' but a 'who'; the institutional structures provided in His community are a what, managerially, hierarchically, officially, e.g.. the whoever-it-is who temporally fills the office. And the significant identifying marks of that unity of body and spirit: one, holy, catholic and apostolic, including God's beloved call the be saints at Rome (however much you may not like the present bunch), and ever same - yesterday, today, and for each tomorrow. Outside of that then, however true the group of individuals claim to be - to their truths - (and regardless of how much you might like them) what they offer is not: the Church. Keep the Faith; tell the truth, shame the devil, and let the demons shriek. God bless. ;o)
I know that these guys are kind of on the extreme end of things, but honestly I see little difference between their church and many mainline churches (RCC, Orthodox, and Protestant) who close their Communion to their fellow believers. When you don't open your Communion to all penitent sinners then you place a barrier between a Christian and their God. So I'm sorry for saying this, but this disgusting behavior of calling yourself the "true church" is prevalent in most churches today, not just the kooky ones. 😞 At least the True Jesus Church is willing to be honest about it.
I really like the way that you let the sources from each denomination speak for themselves without any editorializing.

FYI Kjv is rarely used in tjc, its nkjv and esv
Which makes one wonder how the Chinese services are handled. Literary translations of the Bible do exist, and they do follow the style of the Chinese classics, but they are certainly nowhere near KJV by virtue of Chinese being a completely different language to English

Dang. Rejecting Trinitarianism is a big deal. I assume they would not affirm the creeds?
Trinitarianism as defined by which other body? There are different understandings, and each church seems to think they're the correct one.
As also there are not three uncreated; nor three infinites, but one uncreated; and one infinite."
So basically, saying all these things that are contradictory to human understanding, in other words: the trinity cannot be understood.
They have no weight now, unless a denomination decides to adopt them; that's fine, they're free to do so, but to my understanding, there is one Judge, and it ain't a denomination or a document from 1500+ years ago that basically ends up saying "We don't get it but here it is anyway, and you better agree to it."
I'm truly saddened if anyone believes that a particular view of the trinity, of which there are seemingly countless, is necessary for salvation.
Since the 1st century, only the Catholic Church is mentioned, so I believe, this would be the one :)
Interesting word you used there: “truly”. You’re admitting that other people can decide who is “truly” born again. This is exactly the problem with Protestantism and how it began, where it lead, where it is now, and why there’s thousands of denominations. The “church” as you call it, is not a bunch of scattered believers that are not in communion with each other, or not seeking fellowship as God commands. The true universal Church is ONE with Christ, it’s his bride. He established only ONE, and he told ONLY St Peter upon this rock I *BUILD* my church, which is why we have had successors to St Peter.
Jesus is the only mediator.
The church is not a mediator, but God addresses us through his written and spoken word, which is why meeting together and studying scripture is important (see Hebrews 10:25).
The “Church of Me” contradicts Christ’s teachings and Christian doctrine.
In Matthew. He said: “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”
Did not the author of the Hebrews emphasised when she spoke of the children of Israel, and yet few were saved (Hebrews 3: 16 to 4: 3). Few are they who find the narrow path, and such is to carry the cross, the cross is part of the discipline and leading of the Spirit. The Spirit gives life, that which is written ultimately does not profit, if anything it kills (2-Corinthians 3: 6).
@@macmedic892 That is the definition of a church, but such, in terms of salvation, does not undermine His teaching, on the need to be led by the Spirit.. The church's online Bible app favors the KJV, Berean Standard Bible, NET Bible, and Lexham English Bible, presumably since these versions have a rather lax licensing policy. So yeah, these heretics are still more generous on the matter than the KJV-Only crowd.

In the Bible, tounges can be understood by those who spoke the tounge concerned. They weren't gibberish, they were foreign languages. After the cessasstion of gifts polyglots and books served that purpose: "Love never fails but..."

The part that I do not agree with their teachings is they would focus on many things that I believe are non-essential to the salvation, but yet they claim these are very important and if you don't follow them exactly then you are not saved
Your belief and opinions cannot supercede the teachings of the bible.

@@MrKter2u I am not referring the importance of baptism, holy communion, etc. But TJC put a lot of emphasis on details like you need to be baptized in living water like a creek or lake and not a bath tub inside a church, etc. I think these details are not essential to salvation, but TJC will tell you that all baptisms performed in other churches are all useless.
according to the bible, these sacraments have a direct relationship to your salvaltion.
@pewdiepiipewwie2904 Baptism is all about witnessing God in front of people and in front of angels and devils. It symbolizes the death of the "old self" and the start of the "new life".

Romans 6:3-4,John 19:30
"...baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28: 19-20)
The 'trinity' is what the scriptures reveal about God.

To all those "churches" (aka. denominations) that claim that they are the only "church" (denomination) to offer true salvation... I have news for you:... NO "CHURCH" (denomination) can give someone salvation.... JESUS CHRIST gives salvation... NOT THE DENOMINATION!!! A single denomination of the church could NEVER represent the entire Church of Christ... The true Church of Christ exists throughout ALL Denominations and NON-Denominations... "Everywhere where 2 or more are gathered in my name, There I am also, in their midst", says Jesus Christ himself... Everywhere where Christ is, there is the true Church of Christ!!! It CANNOT BE that only ONE single denomination of Christ is the ONLY true Church of Christ...
- Now THAT is something (simple things)
To many denominations make things over complicated and all they do is, lead people astray!!!!

How can they claim to value the word of God over the word of man if this church organization is infallible and the only way to Christ? Sounds like Catholic heresy
I don't need church to be accepted by God. My relationship with God is between God and I and no one else.
Almost right.
Really? Oh oh
Anatema!
The early Church herself, taught us how to identify the true Church from the heretical ones:
"It is incumbent to obey the presbyters who are in the Church-those who, as I have shown, possess the succession from the apostles; those who, together with the succession of the episcopate, have received the infallible charism of truth, according to the good pleasure of the Father.
1 Cor 12:10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, __to another the interpretation of tongues.__
It's funny that no one ever has the gift of interpretation of tongues in churches that claim speaking in tongues is a gift.
Luke 13:19 says nothing about the Church falling, it reads:
“It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the sky nested in its branches.” (Luke 13:19)
There is zero correlation between this verse and any attribute of the Church.
Nothing in Scripture makes the claim that the Church would fall away, it’s explicitly the opposite, as Christ said:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” (Matthew 5:14-15)
and again,
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” (Matthew 16:18)
And in regards to the value God has in His Church and His desire to protect it, Paul tells us:
“Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.” (Acts 20:28)
and the author of Hebrews has spoken elsewhere, saying:
“Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20-21)
It’s clear that the blood shed for the new, eternal covenant, the blood of God, is the same blood used to purchase the Church; the implication that this eternal covenant is with, and for, the Church. Christ has spoken before that He would empower those in His Church and His Covenant, saying:
“teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:20)
and again, He has sent the Spirit to guide the Church, saying:
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you.” (John 16:13-14)
and we know this promise to be fulfilled, as Paul spoke to Timothy:
“but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one should act in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.” (1 Timothy 3:15)
To say that this Church-established by Christ with His blood, promised to be everlasting, guided by the Spirit, and the pillar of the truth-was, in fact, not eternal, is the greatest of blasphemies.
Furthermore, Joel 2:28 was not fulfilled in the 1900’s; it was, quite explicitly, fulfilled at Pentecost, as Peter said:
“but this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, And your young men will see visions, And your old men will have dreams;” (Acts 2:16-17)
Very explicitly, Peter is applying the prophecy of Joel 2:28 to the moment of Pentecost.
The same can said of the christians underground, fleeing the papacy for centuries.
I'd join that church!
The TJC in South Korea, although minority, is known to oppose Calvinist Protestantism.
But to say yehoshua is jehova its lost case ... I challenge these people read what yehoshua said ...
He's not Yehovah... but the son ..
Another church that thinks I am going to hell. I will add it to the list.
Poor baby: you can fix that!

Correction please, TJC is not a Pentecostal denomination
As an exmormon this is oddly familiar. Just as off kilter and full of false doctrine as the LDS church. 🙄
I've never heard of this church. They sound like they have seriously thought through every little thing. Perhaps too seriously.
God bless. ;o)
So mixed theology from Catholic -Protestant 🤔🤔🤔
Where do we follow Jesus to? Simply ask to The Father's kingdom...
